iPhone SE orders UK!

*Space Grey 64gb - only one I've been checking as only one I'd consider buying.

Exactly the one I'm going for haha, for me it will be a decent upgrade as my iPhone 6 was never the perfect choice for me... Had a 5s but that got mugged :'( and then figured I'd try the bigger screen but blech the design sucks and the screen size gain is pretty minimal. Can't wait to go back to a nice phone :)

Nothing in Leeds this morning. It takes me an hour to get there from York so need to be ready to go at a moments notice...

I think you cal relax, was just told by a genius that because yesterday was a bank holiday no stores are getting stock today

Nope.. I just wish they mentioned the whole 'no delivery on day after bank holiday' thing yesterday... then I coulda saved my self a trip. I've decided that I'll give it one last shot on thursday, otherwise I'll just wait until the end of the month. One thing I've noticed is that the sales staff are really inconsistent with what they say. Their standard answer is, go online, otherwise it's just luck and deduction on when stock will be available.

Oddly though, Brent Cross supposedly had less than five SG64 today, so I'm thinking that some stores actually keep stock for later days when they don't get deliveries.

RE: tomorrow, I would assume they get daily deliveries of devices so there's a 50/50 chance. All I can say is, good luck.

Yes, and stock is hanging around longer today. Approaching 6pm and there's still plenty about aside from London.
Got a SE in store pick up today and also had delivery of a 6s. I'm definitely downsizing from my 6s Plus but not sure whether to go with the SE or the 6S..

Yeah kinda sucks for me that the one day I can't go seems to be the jackpot for SG64.. It pains me that there's still stock one store that's like 30 min on the bus from me, and I can't go -_- will be trying my luck tomorrow... I just hope they haven't sold all of their inventory today..
 
FYI I went into the Manchester store on Tuesday and they had two SE's in stock in the colour / capacity I wanted. The Apple employee I spoke with said that the inventory will only show up on the online stock checker if they have more than 10 units of that particular size / colour.

If you live near an Apple Store it might be worth checking in person rather than just online.

True, but if it appears online, you can 'reserve' one, by buying online and picking up in store later.
 
Stock in Meadowhall store last night as I went in and bought mine. I asked the sales guy how much stock they had but he was cagey about it, he did say it was the first time they had received a delivery and it was still there come evening time.
 
Ended up getting a Rose Gold 64GB, the restoring from backup process is a bit of a pain in the ass but oh well...

Honestly, as a guy I find it a bit challenging to use without a case but it's really nice. A friend of mine who normally doesn't like Apple products absolutely loved it, she was really taken by its size and shade. And yes it's really pink, not rose gold.

All in all its quite nice.

Well of course because your friend is a girl and therefor she finds it quite attractive. I would have rather had Silver instead of Rose Gold.

However, my Space Gray blows them all out of water, simply stunning.

All gone now! And in Leeds (both 1h drive from me).
I'm waiting until 10 today to see which store gets a delivery.
 
I've just ordered a Rose Gold 16GB SE as a birthday present for my mother, it's got a 2-3 week delivery date. Seems Apple are backed up with orders. I just hope it arrives before the 4th June as that's my mothers birthday. Current estimate is 31st May - 6th June.

Well I have the Rose Gold iPad Pro and it makes a nice change from Space Gray.

Just wondered as I'm trying to convince my Mum to upgrade from her iPhone 5c.
 
Where, aside from Apple themselves, sell the SE truly unlocked (i.e. won't lock to the first network it connects to)? I assume John Lewis, but are there other options? How are SIM free phone from Currys/CarphoneWarehouse?
