iPhone SE SIM ejector tool

I was a bit surprised to find that the sim ejector tool bundled with the iPhone SE seems to be a lot flimsier than the tools I'm used to from previous iPhones. All the previous ejector tools I've seen were the "liquid metal" type. The one in the picture attached seems only a little more sturdy than a bent paper clip.

Has anybody else noticed this change? Do all iPhones come with this type of tool now, or is it only the SE?

I have the same ejector tool that looks like yours with my iphone 5s.
