For those that are down, is it on a new iPhone? I'm wondering if it does have to do with eSIMs on the 16 series.
Carrier roaming has never been free that I know of. I believe there has always been a charge for using another network as they are owned by a different entity and won’t give away their service for free.I thought one of the arguments against MVNOs is that service with traditional carriers will roam onto another carrier's network if that carrier's network is unavailable (which MVNOs will not do). Is that no longer a thing except for emergency calls?
I am down on 15 Pro Max (eSIM). My mom is down on a 13 series (I think). I don’t think it’s hardware-specific.For those that are down, is it on a new iPhone? I'm wondering if it does have to do with eSIMs on the 16 series.
My family is on the Unlimited Welcome plan (the lowest tier currently offered). Maybe other unlimited plans that include UWB access are unaffected? Just a thought.Live in Orange County, CA and have been without service since around 0700 local time. I have a 16 Pro Max. My sister is also without service on a 14 Pro as well as my brother in law on a 15 Pro. Definitely is not model specific. We are all on the same plan however, wonder if that could have something to do with it?
THIS! I'm using Iphone 15 on Verizon - SOS, no Wi-Fi calling, yadda, yadda. Wife = Iphone 13, perfectly fine (verizon). Daughter - iphone SE 2020 - fine, son - hasn't replied b/c in school - iphone se 2022 (I think). All Verizon, all same plan. I THINK mine is the only one with e-sim...if I remember correctly.Location really doesn’t matter so stop saying “working in X”. I have two Verizon phones here, one works one doesn’t. What seems more useful may be what plan you’re on or which phone you’re using, not where you’re located. The one that is working is on a different account and is an older iPhone.
