Oh haha, cuz the first thing that came to mind when I read through all the posts and saw pictures of a bunch of jerry-rigged contraptions similar to the above was MacGyver.i just meant the one with the magiver pics haha

This is my favorite iphone stand
It doesn't look much but it has some channels in the base to direct the sound from the speaker. I tried one in a shop and its like when you cup your hand around the speaker, it makes it much louder.
There is an aperture in it so you can feed the cable through too.

Agreed! This thing is fantastic! I tried the wallet ones, and the slight bump caused them to fall apart.
