my iphone has been stolen for few hours, i believe the reason is to stole information like notes, messages, whatsapp data etc.
I'm afraid the person who stolen it know the passcode.

How can I be sure whether data has been stolen or not?

I think of getting cable plugged in logs (charging logs) or screen lock/unlock logs or any other log file that can help me find what happen to my iphone during these hours..

Technically I don't know how to do it or whether there are other useful ways, so any tip can help.

Thanks a lot

If you have your iPhone back and you think data was stolen, then it's too late to do anything about that. Now you have to make sure you change all your passwords, credit card accounts, bank accounts, and any other sensitive data you have on the phone. Don't take a chance with any of it. And do it now.

Would passwords, credit card accounts, bank accounts, and the like be compromised just because someone used the phone for some time?

The OP states that the person who stole the phone may have known the passcode, so yes.
Passcode, sure, but seems like the comment was talking about all passwords and bank accounts and pretty much everything. It can make sense of those were all stored somewhere accessible on the phone, but that usually isn't the case for most of those things.

Generally, you are correct. But just to be safe and for peace of mind the OP should do the above if any of those things were stored on the phone, however, it's up to him/her to decide.

Thank you all, I know it's too late and I know I have to change all stored passwords and all the stuff you mentioned, but this is not what I need to know..
My question, "How can I be sure whether data has been stolen or not?" I want to know if there is a way to find out whether a cable has been plugged in the phone or not.
I know the person, he is a friend, all I want is to make sure he plugged a cable/stole my data or not, so I know how can I face him....
Thanks a lot!

Not sure you can do that without putting your friend through a lie detector test. I suppose it comes down to whether or not you trust him as a friend.

this doesn't help me, i have the iphone now, he took it secretly for few hours. i knew that later but i have no proof whether he stole its data or not... i have the iphone right now, all i want is to find out whether he plugged any cable in it or not, any log or anything else that could help me find what happen to my iphone during this period....

You can check if any apps have been opened or not in multitasking

Your friend stole your phone and you want to know if he accessed your data?

Why don't you just ask him since he's your friend?

i checked them, none was opened.. im afraid he used a program similar to ifunbox to extract chat messages and other sensitive data...
if there is an internal log for ios for cable plugging that would solve my whole problem. i think there is but i cant find how! i searched a lot with no luck

Sounds like you might as well just go ahead and assume the worst--that things were accessed--and go from there.

Thanks all.
What I found out is that iPhone keeps log for how many times it has been full charged or whether "iPhone has been plugged in since the last full charge" or not, but i hope i can get more charging information...
I also found syslog but I think it's limited in time (not more than one day log)..
