just installed it as well. I was just thinking yesterday that having a jailbroke phone is not a necessity but this app made it so. No i can use installous in the back ground, as well as simplify media and many others.

love it!

what source is this available from as it doesn't seem to be in my list of available apps.

The latest version of Kirikae is out, and it is better than ever. He's given us new ways to initiate it, including holding the home button (replacing the Backgrounder call). We now can have our Kirikae and iPhone controls too! This is becoming one of my most-used apps. Combined with Backgrounder, Kirikae makes the iPhone OS a truly multitasking operating system.

anyone used this and mquickdo? which one do you prefer if cost was not an issue? i already have mquickdo and am not sure if i want to relearn a new switching mechanism. but if there are strong advantages, i'd open to it

theres really nothing to learn with kirake, its so simple. i havent used mquickdo yet but from seeing videos, it looks like sbsettings and kirake combined. all kirake do is a task manager. it only displays what is running and have the option of closing it.

I've set mine to the home button until the issues are fixed... I hardly miss Springboard at all.

The standard lockscreen iPod controls when you double click the home button. I still have mine set to bring up Kirikae.
I don't like that my music HUD goes away now... :(

Upgrade to the latest version. This was already fixed before either of you posted. Just set Kirikae either to use the hold-power or hold-home. It doesn't even interfere with Voice Controls.

That is a work-around, not a fix.

I have the latest version, and if it were fixed then setting Kir to launch with the home button double-click would not deactivate the lockscreen iPod controls.

The fact that the ls controls worked prior to the latest version is proof that it is not fixed.

The fact that the dev said he knows about this issue and is working on it is further proof that it is not fixed. Just like I posted.

However, I am using that work-around.

what dock on the lockscreen?
Well, when you swipe the thing to bring up that menu, you can have 5 icons that stay there for quick access right? Well, whatever's in there appears on the lockscreen for me, and I've messed with all the settings and can only get rid of it by disabling mQuickDo. Very annoyed.

Edit 2: Yes, it seems I WAS soncufesed, but not with SBSettings ;)

I searched for mQuickDo, and this is the first that came up, and it had an apropriet title, so I went and posted. I've been tethering lately, and it's very slow so I skipped the 1st page (assuming this was mQuickDo) and posted. Sorry about that, guess too many users mentioned mQuickDo!

I'm going to leave the pics up just incase anyone DOES know how to get rid of them.

Great app! Thank you for the heads up OP. One thing I wished this program is the ability to default to Favorites or Active when it is opened. I tend to use this app more as a way to quickly get to my favorite apps.
