iPhone UK - Sitting at home waiting for delivery

I was looking out the window (I know)
a DHL van pulled up the street, I think my shrill screams scared it away, it turned around on the corner and drove away!!!!!!!!

Now I know how the survivors felt on Lost when the helicopter flew away :mad:
 
I'm sitting at my desk in the office, gazing out the window for yellow vans and generally being unproductive!

Come on DHL! :(

Seems to have been changed to another delivery company at one point too. very odd.
I just walked home and had a DHL van wizz past me, then I cought up to it and it turned down a road away from my house. I then had a citylink van pass me (again, going away from me house) then passed a parked TNT van!
I never see this many normally!
 
when mine was delivered, i was on the look out for a dhl van, instead this non descript blue corsa pulled up with this dude in a high vis jacket!

Just passed the 7 hour mark since my iphone was loaded onto the delivery van!

Still no sign.

To anyone with DHL 'Security Check' status

Just got off the phone from DHL 08701 100 300

They've told me that it arrived to late for delivery today and that I could go to Vauxhall today or tomorrow to pick it up myself or wait until Monday for it to be delivered :(

I'm seriously considering taking the afternoon off to go and get it.
 
A DHL van just drove straight past my house, how dare it. Come back and give me my iphone!
 
spoke to the local City-Link depot... My driver is due to be with me inside 30mins.... COME ON MAN, HURRY!!! :mad:
 
Argghhhhh.....

I called DHL and they said the status had changed to HSD which means it won't be a DHL Van it will be some random dude in a car...and it can now be anytime up till 9pm!!

....but now everytime any kind of car passes I go "ooohhhh"
 
for anyone upgrading the official 2.0 update is now avaliable, I'm upgrading my old phone now.

At least i can play with some apps to keep me busy

Same here. Call DHL again and they will give you his/her mobile number.

Then you can pester them.
 
Mine arrived a little while ago - like others have said, not a van, just a lady in a car. Maybe they have so many to deliver they have temps filling in? Anyway, it's here, it works, it's lovely - syncing music etc now.

will keep my fingers crossed for the rest of you guys who are still waiting...

EDIT: wow... got far too excited far too soon...
been sent an 8gb phone, when I ordered and paid for a 16gb
 
Mine has been misrouted to the wrong depo and will not be making an appearance today :(

Looks like it will be Monday before I see it - Unless it arrives and is processed in time for me to pick it up from the distribution centre tomorrow!

Ah well ... I've waited this long!
