Hello!
Share your experiences using the iPhone Upgrade Program in this thread!
Helps many users to know what to expect before they go into the Apple Store.

This is what I've been interested in. For example, will they actually not let you use a Visa branded bank issued debit card that can be run as credit.

I'm sure we'll all get questions to all this shortly. I'm interested in that as well.

Just upgraded thru the program. Pretty seamless. I did have to enter my SSN for credit check. Will check credit report later to see if it was a hard inquiry or soft.

Any other details?
Sorry not much. I have to take my son to Doctor so I didn't ask many questions and was kind of rushing the rep. I didn't try to use a debit card for it. I originally reserved it for full price and changed it to the upgrade program in store. Like I said pretty easy. Address was pulled from my ATT account. Then entered SSN and DOB. Accepted some terms and that was it. Of course it went thru the approval process

I heard that this program will not work with prepaid accounts. Is this true? I have AT&T GoPhone service.

Saw a thread and someone mentioned that they were actually denied due to poor credit rating so it is a real credit check. That was one of things that people were questioning. I guess that means a debit card can't be used then?
