I'm 22 and I wish I could pick out a $1600 computer when I wanted too. Damn college being so expensive. I hate you real life. lol. I want to be a young kid again!

Considering the iPhone is the only phone with "Retina display" then it seems you've already decided what phone you would like.

I am one of those people that is obsessed with having the latest things and coolest items that i can brag to my friends. I currently have a 2011 mac mini 2.3 ghz with 8 gb of ram and i love it but i like to have the latest things and i don't wanna wait to long to get rid of it before it starts to really lose its value. I wanna be able to game on my computer (BF3 ultra 4x MSAA) and macs fall really short in this area for price/performance. I want to build myself a computer for around 1600 thats really kick @ss. but on the other hand i wanna upgrade my phone, still works but i want the latest thing. I have an Xperia play, and i wanna get an iPhone or the samsung galaxy s3. Which should i get?

A Life.

You are one lucky kid.

When I was 14 all I had was a gameboy advance.

When I was 14, I even did not have a calculator, not to mention any other electronic stuff! My first electric thing was an electric typewriter. My first electronic thing was a Macintosh Plus I bought with my TA stipend when I was in the graduate school.

I know it's not really.. the same, but, since most of the people doing this are seriously just going to use it for games and Facebook, spending $300 on a mobo does nothing for them. D:

Haha yeah, people generally "overkill" themselves when it comes to those kind of things. :p
