Yea, stainless steel gets scratched quickly. I was annoyed at first but mine is in a case now so the scratches are irrelevant.

I wouldn't bother. Shiny stainless steel will continue to scratch over, and over, and over again. They don't replace Apple Watches with this same design problem, and even if they replace yours once, it'll scratch again. Why is it such a big deal, especially if it's in a case?

hm yeah you might be right, but is annoying anyway

I'll never understand the neurotic tendency to keep something like a phone in pristine condition.

I know there will be the "resale value" or "I paid alot of money which somehow entitles me to laws of physics that don't exist in this universe" responses, but for gods sake do we have to have these threads every. single. time. a product is released?

Used it naked since Friday with no scratches maybe it has to do with the case.

Either way it's going to happen eventually with stainless my S0 apple watch is all scratched up on the stainless, it doesn't bother me a bit.

Stainless steel scratches relatively easy. A lot of people with the stainless steel Apple Watch say the same thing. You can polish them out though.

If we are on an upgrade plan (like Apple upgrade)...would we have to pay money to Apple when we upgrade next year for any scratches / wear / tear?
