iPhone X iPhone X green line display only on instagram stories/videos?

Just stated notice the green line at the right edge in instagram videos and stories. It only happens sometimes. Is this a bug or a hardware display issue?

I’m on 11.3.1 with latest version of Instagram.

Yeah I’m having the same problem too. I’m not sure as to why because it doesn’t appear on my screen or when I’m taking a video; I only see it after I have posted the story.
 
I dont have snapchat or instagram installed, but saw this green line on one of the videos posted on facebook. Seems like a bug.

Hopefully the next software update for Instagram fixes this glitch/bug assuming thats the case.

I just watched Holly's video on my iPhone 6s, and see the same green line on that particular story.

I just checked some other stories, and now I'm seeing the green light on videos...not all of them, though.

Its been happening more frequently now, not sure why. I submitted bug request on Instagram hopefully they can check on their end as well.
 
I’m running 11.1 and don’t see the green line, so it seems like it might be a bug.

Today’s update v55 seems to have fixed the issue/bug so far that I have been testing.

Did anyone ever figure this out? I bought a new iPhone X Monday, saw a green line only on instagram stories. Apple swapped it for a new one today, but the green line is on Instagram on my new phone too. Any explanations? I can't tell if it's an app problem or a phone problem. Thank you.

I’ve also been experiencing this green line. It doesn’t show the green line until it’s uploaded onto my story so I think it’s a issue with Instagram.
