I have a wireless charger by the bed on my desk at work. I usually get to bed after my spouse and am up before him so it nice to be able to just put my X on the charger and not look for and plug in the lightening cord (which often has been bumped off my nightable by the cat!). At work, I can just pop on and off as needed and as I leave my desk. It is not onerous to use a plug of course, but there is a really nice “ease of use” and simplification of charging with the wireless.

Thanks for sharing your personal experiences. The ease of use is definitely a big plus. I’ll pick up one of the fast charge inductive charge stands this week and see how it works for me. For all the times I’m up and away from my desk, it seems like it will be really nice to just set it down and not have to think about plugging it in.

Just picked up my new case from Best Buy in preparation of my iPhone X coming Nov 3rd, and although I saw the picture comparisons, now that I'm holding my iPhone X case next to my iPhone 6s Plus, the iPhone X is small and a little disappointing. I guess I’m wanting an iPhone X Plus with a 6.5 or 7’ screen. This is bothering more than the notch!

X+ is coming 2018 have a faith

Yeah coming from 3 plus models previously.... my gripe exactly but am over it. Looking forward to the X’s big brother next Sept.

April. The iPhone X cannot stand alone as a one-size fits all flagship phone for very long.

My guess is that they were gauging demand for a device with tech most people were unfamiliar with, coupled with ability of subs to meet manufacturing demands.

Coming from an iPhone 7 Plus I must say that I quite like the change, it fits better in my pocket (now I can sit without being concerned about bending the phone!) and the screen is just a lot better, I gaze upon it every time I pick it up. Perhaps I could give a try to a X Plus in the future to see how it turns out but we'll see. So far so good :)

God tho, the plus looks soooooo outdated. Especially having been at Verizon yesterday seeing google pixel or note 8. 7 plus is YEARS BEHIND. x is in the current thinking.
TrueLaLey Sister, So TRUE and agree with you. I don't understand why Americans cannot move on to the Latest Design. Back in the 2012 when the iPhone 6 is the latest phone they always said it's UGLY LOOKING But now, when the X got the latest design it isn't ugly in my opinion. Most people prefer 6/6S/7/8 than the X, they already love bigger bezels and isn't Ankward to use. The downside is People will assume that your using an iPhone 6 if you bought an iPhone 8 cuz it's pretty much the same phone. same design wise.
Maybe. But for some people, the iPhone X is really awkward to use. I spend too much time on my phone and working remotely to have a device that's actually an aggravation to use.
Yeah, X It's ankward to use and very annoying it's so slippery to the hand. Other people that came Africa or people living in Farmers, Mountains, Jungle and Forest, that cannot adopt to the newest technology cannot cope up with the MODERN Technology. But for me using an X is like you came from the Future LOL, cuz if you compare it to The iPhone 8 it still has the design of 6 with the performance of X. Hence The 8 Plus looks ancient next to iPhone X right? Well, guess we are the one that need to adjust to latest X.

I actually have decided I don't hate the size. Yeah, it's realistically a little smaller, but I don't know that I would want a bigger one sight unseen.

Seems a bit much.

I’m skeptical on an April release for the Plus size X version. 1) Customer uproar from those who have already upgraded to either the 8 or the X with no option but to pay to upgrade again. 2) No rumors on an April release. 3) Seems unlikely given the production issues faced with the X. 4) Seems a bit much to stagger the X from the 8 and then to do it again with the X Plus... what would Apple release come September, only 5 months later?

Seenzoned much? Your Comment is out of these thread i suppose. The title of these thread is "iPhone X is small and a little dissapointing"

To answer your comment and avoid being seen i guess they will release an iPhone X Plus with 6.4" on september.

I have no idea what you just typed, but I was directly replying to the statement made by riverfreak regarding the X Plus being released in April. My post gave points as to why I don’t think it would be released in April. With the last point, the ending question was rhetorical. Releasing essentially 4 phones (8, 8 Plus, X, and then an “X Plus) staggered throughout in a cycle does seem to be a bit much.

Unfortunately this sinply isn’t true. The keyboard is tiny and cramped compared to a +. Apps that utilize landscape mode are much, much smaller on an X.

So while technically the X may be approaching the same number of pixels as a +, functionally it doesn’t even come close.

True. All you have to do is hold each phone side by side and open the same app in each and you can see that yes the X screen may be tall but the space is moot because it is completely wasted and not used in every app/photos/videos/etc I tested. Basically a size scam
[doublepost=1511835118][/doublepost]It’s funny. Both awesome phones. Which ever each buys their comments attempt to justify their purchase. Me included

Actually, no, it's rumored by Ming Kuo to be a 6.5 inch iPhone X and there is no indication in September it will release. It will likely be announced in September, but perhaps launch at a later date.

So returned my X before Thanksgiving and loving using 8 Plus.. Hope to see X+(XL?) next year!

It's the same width as the 6/7/8 non-plus version. You'll get the same amount of word wrapping if you view in portrait mode. You wont get tabs in Safari in landscape mode.

For me, I consider the X a definite downgrade size-wise from my 7 plus, but I'll suffer with it until they release a plus version of the X, hopefully in a year.
I totally agree, going through the same now and actually thinking of selling my X and buying a 8 plus to hold me off until hopefully a bigger X releases:(
