So I was up and ready at 2:45AM and the Apple store wasn't up at 3:01AM where I was until 3:09AM. I quickly click through what I want: Silver, 256GB Model, AT&T carrier, Apple Care+ with payment in full. I get the "We need to verify with your carrier settings" and am on the reserved list. Yeah, no. I try it again and it goes through with the estimated delivery date of Nov 17th-24th.
I read the news and the forums about delivery dates improving. I get excited and check my status: Order in Progress, Delivers on Nov 17-24th. I get worried and decide to call Apple - gets told to just check on my order status essentially. Okay, fine. I realized I forgot to ask whether I can change my shipping from home address to being able to pick it up in store (I don't mind the wait, I just hoped it would ship to the store instead because I'd have horrible experiences with home delivery - my MacBook Pro Retina was left right outside my front door in the rain and my Apple Watch was placed outside of my neighbor's door...thank goodness I was tracking it 24/7 so I realized it wasn't on my doorstep. I was informed that a signature was REQUIRED for them but that never happened). Informed that I wasn't able to change from home shipping to in store pickup and to check the order status.

I check my order status again and lo' and behold, "Order in Progress, Delivers Nov 20- 27". I was November 17-24th previously.
Please tell me I wasn't the only one.
