iPhone X owners... How is it?

What's wrong with it? For me personally, I love my iphone x so much and cannot think of anything wrong with it.

What's amazing about it? Gorgeous picture, fast, responsive, fun, awesome, texting,

How's the build quality? great, great quality

Overall, is it worth it? Yes for me definitely

For me personally, once having the X I could never go back to a bar at the top and bottom.

I hear you... I'm just one of the oddballs, I guess; I not only didn't finance, I also didn't lease. I'm a Sprint customer, and strangely enough, they still have an option to buy on-contract phones, with a discount. That means I had to pay up front and I'm not officially* eligible to upgrade until late 2019 -- but it also means I only paid $699 for my 256GB iPX, instead of the regular sticker price of $1,149. Personally, I'm quite content with those trade-offs.

* In spite of the stated contract terms, Sprint still tries every mid-contract juncture to entice me into throwing some more money at them, as they push the latest new shiny. It hasn't worked on me yet... and based upon the rumors to date, it doesn't look likely to work this year, either.
