Yea they have gotten terrible in the last few years. At the Apple store. They said it’s normal. No retail replacements and no Genius Bar replacements here. Terrible.
Yup once none of there displays phone did it they agreed it’s defective. But no replacements they said. That is certainly not normal. Mine doesn't do that. Make them go to a display X and try to replicate it if it is so "normal"!
Oh good! At least there will be a resolution for you. Better than nothing!!Yup once none of there displays phone did it they agreed it’s defective. But no replacements they said.
They said I have to call Apple and set up a new order.
On a side note two of there displays had a green line on the side of the phone.
On the phone with customer relations now.
They said 1-2 weeks away for white box replacements. Most ALL apple stores have Extra just for replacements out of the gate--Im sure they have some
You really think they have replacements right now?
Try the galaxy s8 plus. No such issues.
They don’t have any in stock. Customer relations told me to send it in for repair or do express replacement. They said I could also return it and wait the 4 weeks for shipping. This is ridiculous. If your store has any in stock, then just return it and buy a new one. I wouldn't even deal with a replacement.
This is so frustrating. I've read on other threads that they have been able to go into the store and exchange them. Another said the store manager is setting one aside for them on the next shipment that would probably be the next day or so. I would call your store directly and speak to a manager there. When the automated voice comes on say manager and it will connect you to a store rep, then ask to speak to a manager. They don’t have any in stock. Ty for your advice. I went back into the store and the manager just got all my info. They are setting me aside a phone from the next shipment. This is so frustrating. I'm so happy for you!! Glad you went back in. That's excellent newsTy for your advice. I went back into the store and the manager just got all my info. They are setting me aside a phone from the next shipment.
Yup whats crazy is I could hear it by just touching the phone. Not even applying force. Apple immediately said its defective. Everything about that was a headache but now I wait for the call. Im hoping its 2moro. They said they had inventory for walk in customers up to 4 hours after they opened.I had this issue with my iPhone 7 Plus. After a few months it stopped doing it. I’m thinking the adhesive needs to settle ? Either way good work on getting one set aside for you. My X has a slight pop noise if I apply a little pressure but nothing like your video!

Arden Fair Sacramento, CA.
bend the phone? lol ok. and the fact your 7 plus came like that and you had to tighten the screws is awful all around. None of my 6+, 6S+, or 7+ did this.Experienced the same thing with my 7 Plus at release. The bottom two screws just needed to be tightened.
I also didn't deliberately try to bend my phone, so there was never an issue. It's not anything to worry about.
