At the Apple store. They said it’s normal. No retail replacements and no Genius Bar replacements here. Terrible.

That is certainly not normal. Mine doesn't do that. Make them go to a display X and try to replicate it if it is so "normal"!
Yup once none of there displays phone did it they agreed it’s defective. But no replacements they said.

They said I have to call Apple and set up a new order.

On a side note two of there displays had a green line on the side of the phone.

On the phone with customer relations now.

Oh good! At least there will be a resolution for you. Better than nothing!!

If your store has any in stock, then just return it and buy a new one. I wouldn't even deal with a replacement.
They don’t have any in stock. Customer relations told me to send it in for repair or do express replacement. They said I could also return it and wait the 4 weeks for shipping. This is ridiculous.

While it's annoying but why not use it for about 14 days and quite possible that your apple store may receive stock and then do an exchange then?

I have a tiny scratch on the screen out of the box on my silver model. But I'm looking to exchange it to Space Gray when they have one in stock. I do have one on pre-order as well. But if I can get one quicker would be better.

This is so frustrating. I've read on other threads that they have been able to go into the store and exchange them. Another said the store manager is setting one aside for them on the next shipment that would probably be the next day or so. I would call your store directly and speak to a manager there. When the automated voice comes on say manager and it will connect you to a store rep, then ask to speak to a manager.

Ty for your advice. I went back into the store and the manager just got all my info. They are setting me aside a phone from the next shipment.

I had this issue with my iPhone 7 Plus. After a few months it stopped doing it. I’m thinking the adhesive needs to settle ? Either way good work on getting one set aside for you. My X has a slight pop noise if I apply a little pressure but nothing like your video!

Yup whats crazy is I could hear it by just touching the phone. Not even applying force. Apple immediately said its defective. Everything about that was a headache but now I wait for the call. Im hoping its 2moro. They said they had inventory for walk in customers up to 4 hours after they opened.

Man i’m happy they came out and acknowledged it. Keep me updated on the outcome!

Experienced the same thing with my 7 Plus at release. The bottom two screws just needed to be tightened. No need for a replacement.

I also didn't deliberately try to bend my phone, so there was never an issue. It's not anything to worry about.

bend the phone? lol ok. and the fact your 7 plus came like that and you had to tighten the screws is awful all around. None of my 6+, 6S+, or 7+ did this.
