The space grey looks great in dim lighting
I have a feeling that back is gonna be a regrettable finger print magnet though
Still glad I opted for silver. I'm digging that bold chrome
Still won't see much of the difference one way or another with a leather case on most of the time

I hope someone can change that homescreen wallpaper. Just put it in plain black like when the original iPhone was released. Saves battery too.
You kinda wish iOS had a launcher like Nova Prime. Mainly for the ability to change the icons pack. The flat design icons just doesn't look as good as Forstall's.
Just make it look like this -
^ That's exactly how I arrange my icons in all of my phones for the last 10 years. 4x4 grid but only 4x3. Never have a last line of apps to have room to swipe to next page. Black wallpaper because I have image retention on my LGs.
Black wallpaper over OLED and classic icons pack would make X homescreens look even better. Saves battery, doesn't obscure if it's a picture, and gives that floating effect. That default X wallpaper looks hideous.
Very difficult to match the iOS7 icons with any current wallpaper since the colors are all over the place. So plain black wallpaper since it matches up with any color the best.
I am glad Apple moved away from skeuomorphic design to the flat. The interface looks so dated in that image.

I've been sad for youth since people grew up with iPads.
Pepperidge farm remembers Gameboy color and Game gear being the bees knees. And the rest of adventure and exploration, left up to life!
An iPad at a child's disposal is.. too much too soon
Doesn’t need to be skeuomorphic. But the flat shaded icons look generic and the colors are obnoxious for most. It’s one thing I hate that the entire tech industry moved to. It’s also very lazy design.

Why do you think Pixel PRODUCT Line is iPhone and samsung galaxy priced (barring X)?
Why do you think X and a Note 8 are both in the orbit pricing wise? Because they can be. And there's a market to fork over even more cause you're already almost there (especially if u compare 8+ 256 wit X 64 for another $49)

It’s in lower Manhattan. It’s a space mostly dedicated to giving bloggers and media members exclusive first looks and hands on experiences. That’s all I can say.
There are a few more videos up on YouTube as well. Definitely exciting!
This is a way to get people to read the same thing twice. Double the clicks. Double the advertising. People interested in a 1K phone are a prime target for advertisers.

upon second look, i don’t think Kickstarter has that much exposed brick on the inside. those window frames/trim are the same though (or similar)
It's also a way to placate the journalists. Give the Youtubers 'first impressions' give The Verge and Engadget the exclusive to first reviews so they aren't upset.

They're using a demo unit, and changing whatever wallpaper Apple happened to provide is probably not a high priority in the short time they had allotted for hands-on.
If you want to do it yourself... There is a plain black wallpaper in Settings > Wallpaper > Stills. Well, at least there is on 11.0.3 on my iPhone 6.
You know there is more to the tech industry than just Silicon Valley. I’m not arguing your statement at all because it is true. Just saying it’s not just Silicon Valley companies.
