iPhone X Silver Color

I'm leaning towards the white myself, especially since it has that nice black front, unlike most of the white iPhones before (I see you 3GS). I am curious if the stainless steel on the X is stronger than the Watch because I'm not looking forward to all those scratches. Say what you will about how great the Jet Black iPhone looked, but the resale value after 1 year is crap compared to other models.

Originally wanted the Silver, but the darker sides of the Space Gray I like much more. Black phones always had more lasting power with me, the lighter colors always lost their luster to me after the first few months.

I felt like with my one white iPhone 5(only got it because the black started chipping in the first day).
I don’t think this model will feel the same. The white front of the phone made it not feel right to me over time. I think I’m ok with black front light back now. 9 years of iphones. All but one was black and the white was ehh

My color choices in the past have been around the color of the bezel. I think the 4 or 4S (?) may have been my only white bezel phone. I preferred the black. Since there isn't going to be a white bezel I'm not as concerned whether I have the gray or silver.

Invariably, mine will end up with a case so I stopped worrying about color a long time ago. That said, with the 8 do we know how a case will impact induction charging?

I know that apples site says that their cases for the X are compatible with wireless charging, so similar cases (non metallic, thin) should be fine.

I shopped for cases on Amazon. The couple I had it narrowed to were manufacturers who made cases for other phones, like Samsungs and now, the iPhone 8 / 8+. I looked at the same case design made for phones that supported wireless charging and searched their reviews for comments to make sure the design didn't interfere with wireless charging on other phones.
