Totally. Good charisma. Actually entertaining, not the usual contrived drone and cadence of most tech review videos.

I watched her unboxing and it was the first time I saw her. She is entertaining and funny, not very technical though.

I don't think he edits by himself anymore. Pretty sure he hired a couple of guys/graphic artists to do the title sequences and editing.

I wouldn't doubt that actually. When you print money why not outsource some stuff.

I love Apple, and I have 2 iPhones at the moment buuuuut, I think I'd rather Nintendo make a Switch Pro and pay 1000 for a console that has 6 teraflops of graphics power... a 120hz OLED panel, built in cellular, fast charging, or something. Idk, I just got a Switch and loving it despite not being a gamer. And iPhone X is cool and all, but for 1k...

I don't get unboxing videos, it's kind of like watching someone play a video game.

I think they are cool. I am not getting the iPhone X, so watching an unboxing video of one is like living vicariously through one who does. Just like how I don’t really have the time or hardware for games, so it’s easier for me to watch people play games at a skill level that I can never attain. At least, not without sinking in hundreds of hours into them.

I never get into these unboxing videos just not my thing

I’ve been kicking and screaming ever since this stupid phenomenon started. I feel stupid even reading every internet post of it. Think of the GB of storage would be available for free if all these videos where deleted or never made.

it’s for compensating for things missing in life

And BOOM goes the dynamite

(Thank you)

Over the years, unboxing videos seem to have morphed into a unique entertainment phenomenon. I'm always amazed how the creators of these videos, not just for Apple products, love to drone on and on about the box, the packing material, how a power supply is wrapped, the folding of a cable, the quality of a piece of tissue paper, etc. ... every little packaging element is explained in mind numbing detail while I suspect many folks watching these videos are probably thinking "will you please get to the product in this lifetime".

Don't get me wrong, Apple packaging is amazing, heck, even I save my Apple product boxes, but I still find the whole unboxing video culture a bit over-the-top.

Anyone that saves an Apple product box is either:

A collector
Preparing for future resale to get the highest resale value!

Plain and aimple.
