Huh? How is that 2-3 weeks? If you get it on the 10th, that's exactly 1 week from launch. If you get it on the 17th, that's exactly 2 weeks from launch....hence 1-2 weeks. Not sure how you're coming to the conclusion that 10-17 is 2-3 weeks. Only way I see it as 2-3 weeks, if you mean from today.....but I always took the estimates as based off of release day. Again, in which case, we're in the 1-2 week category.

Apple order page says it ships in 1-2 weeks. From the time of order.

Otherwise it would/should say it ships in 2-3 weeks, and that would actually be the 11/10-11/17 time frame that it lists as well. Whenever you order from Apple the ship date is from time of order, which is why that data was confusing.

Did you guys all see the article on the front page with the analyst and "lead times?" My email confirmation shows 12:04am Pacific/3:04am Eastern. Meaning I got my order in even before that time. Based on this chart, those of us who got in that early, SHOULD get it release day. Obviously I think we've all come into agreement that there were no launch T-Mobile iPhone X's available. I really wonder what all this means. Something? Nothing? I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Is there any way to see when you ACTUALLY got your order in? I didn't get the email from Apple for about 10 minutes after but I got my order in by 3:04am as well.

To me this is different, I always base it off of the release day. I've been preordering iPhones for years now, that's just how I've been basing the dates. I totally understand how you're calculating it, I just never did it that way, figuring this is a preorder. If it was an item in stock, or out of stock currently, then you're correct with basing it off of "time of order." When its a preorder, I always go by the release date.

I'm with ya. I've pre-ordered every iPhone except the 8. I expect shipping dates to be expedited before launch day.

Ships in 1-2 weeks, not delivered in 1-2 weeks.

I really think those of us with the 11/10-11/17 delivery dates, and got in fairly early (say within the first 3-4 mins) I have a feeling we'll see our dates pushed-up. Just a gut feeling. I hope I'm right, but at this point, it's all a crapshoot.

This is my feeling as well. Fingers crossed.

There has to be a reason T-Mo was the only carrier who's phones weren't available for launch day delivery. Same internals as AT&T handset.

So far the only "plausible" explanation I've read, was that someone on here thought Apple may have intentionally pushed the T-Mobile date back. Due to bots buying, and that because T-Mobile doesn't require verification, Apple is making it tougher aka delaying delivery. The person did not say they believed bots bought all the T-Mobile phones, but believed Apple is now going to go through the orders, and make sure it wasn't bots buying the phones. That's what I read from a fellow member. Can't say I agree or disagree. I just don't like that Apple never had release day available for T-Mobile, because as you state, it's the same as the AT&T model.

Same here

T-Mobile 256gb Space grey... Ordered at 3:04EST. Confirmation recieve by emay at 3:08EST. Shipping Nov. 10 - Nov 17

But I'm confident Apple ships it a few days earlier. It has happened years before with my other iPhone pre orders.

Verizon 64GB Silver here
Would have had Nov 3 delivery had they not asked me for my Verizon account pin and I gave the wrong number the first time. It said Nov 3 delivery until that happened.

This was on apple store? Mine said Nov 10th from the start and I had a confirmation e-mail by 3:03AM

It was from the Apple Store iOS app. I must have gotten in the second or two after the app went live because I kept refreshing. I didn't get my confirmation email until 3:08am according to my phone, but there was a long delay between when my order said confirmed on the app and when I actually received the email. I think I completed my order at 3:05 at the latest.

I think @toffz didn't realize one thing. He/she was asking you, because nobody else got release day. They failed to recognize, you mentioned you bought a Verizon phone. The issue we're all addressing is only for those who ordered T-Mobile :) I think that's where this disconnect is.

Strange, On my order it says:

Are most everyone's orders really saying shipping 11/10-11/17 and not delivers? If so that's definitely a possible difference in delivery date. No one on my order does it say ships in 1-2 weeks.

T-Mobile 256GB Space Grey via iPhone Upgrade Program (with pre-approval)

I think we're all in the same boat. Just that some are saying delivers 11/10-11/17, while others are saying it ships then, but in reality, everybody means delivers by 11/10-11/17. I hate speaking for others, but I think that's what we're all here saying.

FYI - For my order, it shows delivers by 11/10-11/17.

T-mobile 256g silver received email at 3:05 am nov 10th-17th. My order is in progress already so I’m holding out hope I may actually get it launch day, but if not at least it’s only another week

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. Hopefully we're all the same in that regard. Now its fingers crossed time for some delivery bumps. Once CS slows down a bit I'm going to try and get the usual upgrade to overnight shipping which should lock it in for next week. Worked the last couple years as long as you get a CS rep that will work with you.

Given we are all in the same boat, I would like to ask you something (based on your experience). As everyone else here my order says it will be delivered by 10-17.
I sent it to a friend of mine which will be in a Hotel between 12nd and 15th.
When is my last chance to cancell my order? I mean, will I be able to cancel it on the 15th ? What would you do in my case?
Might we all get our T-Mobile order before the expected dates?

I got my order in around 12:03, and also noticed that the in store pickup was not available for me. But a friend of mine ordered 3 min after me, and had att, and had the option for the Nov 3rd pickup at the local Apple store. So this leads me to believe that tmobile phones are in short supply right now. And as most have already mentioned i do think the dates will be pushed up. Last year when i ordered the 7 plus i had a 2-3 week delivery time frame, and got it 5 days after launch. So there is hope of receiving it early.

There are so many variables in your scenario that nobody can give you any sort of definitive answer. Only thing we can give you is based on conjecture. Anyways, as for when you can cancel, see this is kind of a floating date. We don't know, because Apple as others have noted, tends to underpromise and over-deliver. So in theory, you could still get release day delivery. In which case, cancellation date would probably be in the next couple of days. Now if delivery is closer to the 17th, then I'd say you have till probably early November to cancel without there being any issues.

Now as for your friend and the hotel, I wouldn't have done what you did, because he's only there the 12th-15th. The phone could be earlier or later. Too much is unknown. I wouldn't have risked it personally.

Best of luck to you. I hope it all goes well!

And yes, we're ALL hoping we get it sooner other than later!
