With the launch of the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple has decided to keep the iPhone SE, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 around as lower-cost options.

The only iPhones that are no longer available for purchase are the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, which have been eliminated in favor of the new iPhone 12 Pro models.

Apple's full lineup now features iPhones at every price point starting at $399.
  • iPhone SE - $399
  • iPhone XR - $499
  • iPhone 11 - $599
  • iPhone 12 mini - $699
  • iPhone 12 - $799
  • iPhone 12 Pro - $999
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max - $1099
The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 feature 64GB for starting models (upgradeable to 128GB or 256GB), while the iPhone 12 Pro models start at 128GB of storage, which can be upgraded to 256GB or 512GB of storage.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be available for pre-order this Friday, with the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max to be available for pre-order on November 6.

Wow the first one, so one thing I did not see is those of us still on the old apple iPhone plans through apple, are they going to continue with those or do you have to switch to the Apple Card?

Was not expecting them to keep both the XR and the 11. I thought they would surely drop one or the other.
Same thought. I was expecting them to drop the XR and keep the 11, but guess the Xr is here to stay for another year.

"Hi I'd like to purchase an iPhone"

"Sure, did you know which one of the 7 options you were after? Also, what color, and storage did you like? Oh, and you'll need to buy a charger unless you own a new Mac."

Uh yeah, do you go to a car dealership and just tell them you want to buy a car without knowing what kind of car you want?

Very interesting line up. iPhone 12 makes sense most of the people if you coming from iPhone 6/plus or older phone.

I think it would’ve been better to keep either the Xr or the 11 at £549 instead of having both, just to clean up the lineup.

You bet. Even iPhone 12 mini starts 949CAD here in Canada. iPhone XR would be good for folks looking for “affordable iPhone” here in Canada.

iPhone is truly expensive here in Canada.

1 USD is ~ 1.3 CAD right now, yet the 12 Pros are priced at a 1.4 exchange rate.

Since Apple cannot change prices in real-time with the exchange rate, they build in a buffer to account for such fluctuations.

It’s what they do, I remember back in the day only the plus size iPhones had optical image stabilization.

I wonder if the larger case offers more space to support such features.
