Best of any APPLE phone.. The XR isn’t in the same league as some of the big battery Android phones. Android is a non starter for many people, however.

Apple will tell you nothing is wrong. Most likely it’s down to how you’re using it. No way is it due to the battery degrading that badly yet. It’s frustrating, but the vast majority of these cases are not due to faulty hardware.
Lol well I've yet to find that Android phone. The S10+ and Pixel 3a came close though.

My XR has been excellent in terms of battery life, much better than the X I had and also loads better than the S8 and Pixel 3 I had alongside as well (work phones).

So much so that I just use my XR for everything now.

IMO it depends heavily on screen brightness, reception and used apps. Here is my stat for the last 10 days:

I agree, most of the times I am indoor(both auto brightness and true tone on) in places with pretty good reception(usually 3 bars, out of 4). These factors might be the major contributors to the good battery life on my iPhone.

I do try to limit the amount of apps that have background refresh or location awareness or push notification functionality to those that I absolutely need it. This helps me save some battery life.

Gaming apps do drain battery faster but I would consider it pretty manageable. Again depending on how graphic intensive the games are.

Here is one with 2.5 hours of gameplay on Marvel StrikeForce, not the most intensive game but it did drain my pervious iPhone 7 plus pretty quickly.
