I already have a Spigen Rugged Armor, but just ordered a liquid armor case too. Also nabbed a 12 dollar Yootech wireless charger. Next Friday can't get here soon enough.

Well...no Apple case like rumored....that's dissapointing.

So I ordered a Tech21 Pure Clear Impact Case to match with my iPad Impact Case.

Who needs iPhone XR if there is better and cheaper iPhone X from last year?

Is it really better? In some ways it is, but not across the board.
Worse SoC, worse camera, worse battery life. Yes it has the telephoto lens, but the wide angle camera is better on the Xr.
The display is way better of course, but the average iPhone user has been happy with the LCD for years. People upgrading from a 6, 6s, 7 or 8 will find a similar display with edge-to-edge design and be happy with it.

I went for the Xs as I like the second lens and the smaller size, but if I had to buy a new phone at about $800 I'd have picked the Xr over the X

Originally planned to get the Xr but went used 2 weeks ago...

Has anyone some idea how much of a drop in price a last years phone usually experiences (in my case I snatched a iPhone X 256 mint condition, 10 months used) for I think 60% of original owners price...

I find that insane! But don‘t complain as a buyer... I just feel that with such price drops in under 1 year I will permanently give up buying new and just go for new-1y form now on...

Oh, and the phone has 14m of apple care, too ;-) So that makes it rather 50-55% of original expense

Ordered 128 GB Product Red after upgrading from 6s Plus.. Think the battery life and option to get another 64GB for an extra $50 was a better deal than the Xs Max which would have forced me to get the 256GB as I always wanted just a little more than the 64gb

Could still get almost every combo on launch day...

They have alot of stock or people forgot about the XR

XR is even bigger than X/Xs.

Those who were disappointed by absence of iPhone SE 2 want a small, not a big iPhone.
I‘m with you. Reason number 1 why I decided to go used iPhone X just 2 weeks ago. Could have lived with 128GB and the LCD screen (also the X screen is really gorgeous), but this thing is so much bigger than my previous 6S already. No desire to go even bigger with the Xr...

Man, 6,7,8 dimension, all screen design... old weight specs, too, that would be the sweet spot for me (even a little smaller maybe)

I have a question. I understand the T-mobile version is unlocked, but can I buy one as a foreigner?

Think that's why they were delayed, to ramp up volume.

Don't buy the production probs.

I am really not. The LCD screen is perfectly fine to me. Getting a worse camera, much less battery life, a slower cpu and no colours is not.
Don’t forget the little fact that the X shows less content than the XR, more pixels but fewer points.

And then it’s also more expensive! $250 more for the base model and if that is not enough, the next biggest storage option costs you another $150 more. That’s the price for an Apple Watch extra.

Lower the price by $100 of the XR and then we're talking. Otherwise it's the "lower end" at a flag ship price.

Coral 128 for the wife at 3 minutes after orders went live through my carrier’s app. Couldn’t have gone any easier.

Ohhh, the size and weight of the 7 with the all screen design and no PWM in the OLED...

Better?

Inside, the iPhone XR is sporting a 7-nanometer A12 Bionic chip that includes two-performance cores 15 percent faster than the A11 and four efficiency cores up to 50 percent more efficient. The four-core GPU in the A12 is up to 50 percent faster than the A11.

A next-generation 8-core Neural Engine completes up to 5 trillion operations per second for major improvements to all apps and features that use AR and machine learning.

When it comes to battery life, the iPhone XR has the longest battery life of any Apple iPhone.
