Pentile OLED PPI is not directly comparable to LCD PPI. The OLED PPI somewhat lower than stated. Still higher than that LCD, but not by as much as these numbers suggest. There’s also a lot more to a display than PPI.

Who would ever buy the Xr as its not cheap. Why lump yourself with this Xr when it doesn't coat much more to have a Xs

Faster faceID in the XS is due to the improvements in A12. XR will be the same as XS.
The XR supposedly has the same internals as the Xs, so that would make it faster.
I’m sitting here wanting to preorder the XR, but I can’t decide on a color. I really want the coral, but am afraid when I get it, it will be a bit too orange. I came here for a distraction while I think it over and your post cracked me up lol.
Don’t worry, it’s not too orange. I order you to order coral right now! I’m sure you will love it. And if not, you can send it back to Apple hassle-free within the first two weeks.
I just upgraded from the 6S to the last years X... But to be honest, I could have waited it out another year... Did the upgrade mainly to go from my previous 64 to 256 GB ;-) Also, picture quality definitely improved over those years... Don't care for the size and weight gain though

Yes, what I’m saying is that a part of me likes LCD better because of the lack of eye strain and/or headaches. But you are correct in that imo, the screen has to be good enough.
