I am concerned about the yellow but these colours look different in virtually every single video that I've watched. The goldy look to the edges doesn't bother me too much, it's more the fact that in some vids it looks like a very pale yellow which is not what I'm about. I want vibrant!
But then some have said it's really vibrant in person.
I'll see Friday I guess! If I don't like it when I get it, I'll exchange for blue.

One of the written reviews...can't recall which exactly but I think either Gruber or Verge, specifically called out the gold edge on the yellow model as not matching the way the bands matched the other colors.
How's that different from any other phone review?
Arent all other companies given phones to their "A list" guys?
Are those reviews biased as well?

I have been very uninterested in augmented reality...but she did do an awesome quick review of it. I downloaded that app right away and started shopping for my house. Eek!
Am I the only one that can’t stand Justine? Can’t watch more than 5 seconds into her videos.
I prefer her to other You Tube tech people. Not perfect but ok and she likes all formats and not just Apple.

I ordered the black as I have always had black phones. I considered a colored one but, I know I would get tired of it. I put a case on all my iPhones anyway so color is mute.
Yes, she's annoying typically but her XR review isn't. It's very on point especially from the photography perspective.

Thats exactly why I ordered the black. I felt I would get tired of the product red even though I love the way it looks. I plan on keeping this phone for 2-3 years. Coming from a 6S its gonna be a massive upgrade! Can't wait for the camera. The Landscape HDR photos I'm seeing are breathtaking.
Oh my goodness so many pigeons in that CNET video! 
I live in semi rural area, so I do not often see pigeons. We have doves instead.
Though now I see many more pigeons on the beach when I go on vacation. I did not see that years ago. They remind me of little people being touristy.
The reviews all seem very positive. I have not seen anything alarming to me except Nilay Patel reminding us the back glass is the same as on the iPhone X and not the newest strong glass on the XS. I have heard so many people complain of their X shattering on the back even in a case and no drops. I guess I will be getting Apple Care after all. My husband will not like that. I don’t like that, myself. I wish they would have used the new glass and charged a little bit more. But I understand why they did not.

Make sure you visit St. Mark's Square in Venice before it sinks into the sea. It's a sea of tourists and a sea of pigeons all at once!
I thought it was odd that they used two different generations of glass on the XR. I am glad that all the reviewers were made aware so that they could pass that info on to us consumers.
Oh wow at :24 look at the guy walking by with the resting grump face (not judging, mine is worse and he actually looks good)...he’s got a notch hairline!Found a yellow one.
It’s so perfect! Every man in my life has had that hairline at some point before receding more...dad, uncles, grandpa, husband, friends. But now I’m forever reminded of iPhones when I see such a hairline. Thanks, Apple. 
That worried me too when I first heard about it. In the review I read (or saw..I don't remember) he said that he broke the back glass on his iPhone X even with a case on it. However, the 8 and 8 plus also have the same glass as the X (from what I can tell online), I'm coming from the 8 plus and I haven't had any problems so I'm thinking that it'll be okay. Definitely something to be aware or but I don't think it's a huge deal.
In the iMore review Rene Richie says it has a stronger back glass than 8 and X but not as strong as XS. Hmm...I wonder which information is correct.
???I will try not to worry and just enjoy my phone. As I’ve gotten older and had certain health issues like vertigo become more acute I have become more cautious about my inherent clumsiness. I’m rarely careless, but with kids and pets and autoimmune disease that sometimes affects my grace and beauty
I am starting to be more interested in minimizing risk of disaster. But poop happens anyway. 
You are not alone. iJustine relies on her looks hoping you will ignore her poor reviews. Another reviewer I don't like is that Sara Peachy. The way she talks in that halting manor drives me insane. I ignore most youtuber reviews who are in apples back pocket. You will not get an honest review of the product from these people. Unfortunately, many people only wish to hear good things about apple products.
I thought iJustine was more thorough than many of the "professional" reviewers on the XR review. And she did it from a lovely locale full of flowers and clothing that was obviously designed to set off the color of the phone. I can't disagree about Peachy though. I get absolutely nothing from her reviews.
