I have the Max and would buy it again if given the choice.

I am female too, by the way. The phone is not too big for me, but then I do have large hands. Yes, it is quite heavy but then I like that. Battery life is also superb for me. I get more than a day and a half out of a charge with normal to heavy use.

The reasons why I would go for it again as opposed to the other iPhone offerings (previously owned an X and an 8 Plus):

- large display
- OLED
- Performance
- Camera

All you “PPI Patrol” answer me a simple but important question.

iPhone Xʀ has 326 PPI of screen resolution of 1792x828... iPad Pro is 264 PPI with resolution of 2732x2048... which display is more “crisp” according to you PPI Patrol?

We go back to Iphone 4 with you all that say the Xʀ “Had the same display as the iPhone 4”. No it does not... iphone 4 is 960x640 and 326 PPI. Far cry from the display on Xʀ.

I’m honestly 100% certain people doesn’t understand display tech.

The iPad Pro is held much further away than an iPhone. The viewing distance is important.

I initially bought a Xs, but found the keyboard too small after years of using plus-sized phones. My wife and older daughter have Xr's and I considered switching to a Xr, but in side-by-side comparisons, I thought the OLED Xs screen was just too good to give up, so I sold my Xs and bought a Xs Max a few weeks ago. I'm very happy with my decision.

I just went from an iPhone 7 to a brand new iPhone Xs this weekend. Got $250 off for trading in my old phone. I’m highly impressed with the Xs all around. Call quality and internet speeds are way better. Rejected the Xr because of the screen, bezels, and weight. Now I find out it doesn’t have gigabit LTE like the Xs and Xs Max. Glad I passed on the Xr.

The Xs Max was huge. Wish I could hold it but would be highly uncomfortable long term. For once, I am very happy with my Apple purchase. This is my first new Apple product in 15 years. I normally buy used. Wouldn’t have done it without the upgrade offer. The Xs Max is very tempting because it’s only $100 more but the Xs is the perfect size for me.

The max is the first iPhone I went for the “top” model. And couldn’t be happier with it.

I have the XS, I chose it for the size mostly. I had the max but after a month I realized it was too big for me to use comfortably. I wanted the OLED, 3D Touch and the telephoto lens so I made the choice for the XS.

The XR as it has all the best bits of the more expensive models and you have enough change for an Apple Watch.

Definitely. If someone can forget about the dual camera and 3D Touch, there’s almost absolutely no reason to not opt for the XR. The display looks excellent, wireless charging, the form factor is virtually the same and the battery life is excellent.

If the rumors are true and Apple deletes 3D Touch in the future would it be removed from all upgraded phones or just new models?

I assume Apple will remove 3D touch from all iPhone models moving forward for whatever they introduce in 2019. The downside, I don’t see Apple discussing if they remove 3D Touch or not during the keynote, until others can have hands-on with the new phones to determine if it’s been removed or if Apple has it listed on their specification page for the iPhone.

Have there really been such rumors, of the end of 3D Touch?

Same question as above.

Indeed. It’s rumored to believe that Apple might utilize the software version of 3D Touch similar to what the XR uses right now. What that would do by eliminating 3D Touch, will allow for more internal space and possibly reduce the iPhones price point.

If you could go back and change your mind on the phone you have would you?

Nope. Super happy with my XS Max. I had the X, and longed for a 'plus' sized phone with the OLED display. The XS Max has been everything I'd hoped it would be.
