iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max Now Available for Pre-Order

As many of you experienced, the order process even with IUP was very smooth this time around with the Apple Store App even while it did not allow me to proceed until a few minutes after 12:01. While I was able to get a delivery date of 9/21 the app would NOT allow an in store pickup at all.

In the past, has in store pickup that included a IUP phone exchange been an open option? I realize one would have to do the phone backup and restore at the store to complete the in person exchange but I though the option would at least be open.

In the UK, the rose gold and silver 256GB and 512GB Xs are still showing 21st September delivery 12 hours after launch. The others, including all the Maxes, are showing 1-2 weeks (no pickup availability, though). They either have a lot of phones this time, or the demand is relatively low. Possibly the X has already soaked up most of the demand for smaller OLED phones at that price, and the major demand is for the new larger device. I'd expect the Xr to be more popular.

So that brings the question to my mind, does that mean they are all unlocked? Why have dual sims if its locked to a carrier.

So I'm not upset because I got a 9/21 date on my phone and watch, but did anyone else have a Verizon preorder process that was terribly slow and unresponsive? I had to clear my cookies to finally get it to go thru although I don't see how that would have effected the response of the website.

It seems like the app version of the store became live 1 to 2 minutes faster than on my MacBook. Love how they streamlined the iPhone buying to a few taps with pre-selection. Now just hoping my ship date doesn't slip.

I finished my order on the Apple website for a T-Mobile 256GB Silver XS Max by 12:06 AM, but it already says shipping September 28 - October 5th. Not sure why it was like that already. I should have gotten the SIM-free option, but didn't see it initially when I ordered through the app. My order already processed and got my e-mail before I realized I could have gotten the SIM-free with launch day delivery. Kind of kicking myself for not just canceling my initial order and re-ordering the SIM-free option. Hoping the delivery date changes to Sept. 21 as it usually has done in the past. This happened last year when I ordered my iPhone X with T-Mobile and it said it was going to be delayed, but I ended up getting it on launch day. Hoping for the same again this year.

Every year I have tried to pre order via the app and failed... UNTIL THIS YEAR! Ordered 256GB Space Grey Max within seconds. So excited that I don’t have to camp out this year! Haha.

I upgraded from 8+ to Gold XS Max. Wondering if I should've gotten the black. Won't come till Sept 28th.

Most people have a case on it, so the body color is less of an issue. I went silver with everything for a while, then gold, then space grey, and now back to silver. They all look good, IMHO.

I had the first until May this year, then it died. My fault, as I quite often did swim with it. Have the third series and I find it to be a huge upgrade on just about anything but design. This forth one seem to be a good upgrade, even for someone who own S3. I ordered. My cousin is buying the S3 that I have right now.

My Apple Watch 2015 lasted all these years but me and the other half were playing and he broke it.

If I do the Apple GiveBack separately and get Apple Gift Cards, can you use these gift cards towards paying off the IUP payment installments (which I think are made to Citizens One)?

Some people having issues after ordering realising their wrong choices etc.. It has dual SIM, and they need to understand how it works etc..(CDMA, GSM,eSIM support)

I live in the UK. I ordered iPhone Xs 256GB in Gold yesterday. I used Carphone Warehouse. I chose Vodafone plan and they did my credit check after 28 minutes It's my first iPhone Contract in the UK. I only have broadband from BT. I was so scared that it wouldn't work.
Last year I was trying to order iPhone X from 3 as an upgrade, but my mom forgot to pay last month bill and they rejected her credit check . But I didn't have any issues with Vodafone this year (it was my first credit check ever).
