I wanted to check if this experience is replicable on your devices. I was sitting in my office today and after turning on the camera app, I instantly felt a mechanical noise as if coming from the back of the phone.
At first, I thought it was the taptic engine but later I largely connected it to the camera. If it was not this quite I would not have heard it but I do not know if I should be concerned about this noise or if its normal for phones in this category.
My 6s before this didn't show much noise, then again it was also not a dual camera sensor.
