Life moves on. But I'm done with having a cat, ya know?
I honestly can’t imagine.
But life does move on and there’s always tech

Yep. And now I'm doing what I always do... holding an iPhone in one hand and an Android in the other trying to choose. I own both, but still.
No need to choose, you seem to enjoy both so no need to stop now.
Yeah, but only one can have a SIM in it at a time. Right now it's the Note that has it. And the iPhone is going to push the music to my HomePod.
I usually get rubbish speeds around my town centre (6/7) and now I’m getting about 50 mbps.Yup, this is what I have been seeing. Went from about 12 mbps on my X regularly to about 24 on my Max. I’m happy with it.
Seriously? I thought that's illegal. When I was living in Switzerland, one of the operators there allowed subscribers to have one number on two sims, Shame they don’t still do that.

Not too sure about using a legacy phone as far as speed anymore. The gestures and animations for the x and xs are super fast. My speed has increased a huge amount without a home button and the gestures. iOS 12 everything is basically instant.iOS 12 animations are still slower on my iPhone 8 than my Note 9. And if they aren't, I can turn them off. And no, reduced motion isn't the same thing.
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure they're testing the Snapdragon version and not the Exynos one.

And the fact that every Android update touts battery improvements means nothing to you? Because I want Android Pie ASAP on mine for the improvements.

I don’t understand the relevance of price when your are comparing a 2018 phone with a 2018 modem to a 2017 phone with a 2017 modem.
Might as well compare the poco to a 2011 iPhone 4s.
Great quality and value when consider that you are using it as an ancillary device to the iPhone X.
If you only had a poco you might not be feeling the same. At least I wouldn’t. Quality and value to describe a completely plastic phone, ok sure.
May be you are right. But for now Xiaomi got my money and not Apple.
Time period where device gets OS updates is very relevant though for value of the phone you are selling, turning in, or passing down to family.Irrelevant if your swapping you’re phone every 1-2 years.....
So yes you did give Xiaomi your money but you gave apple more.
Enjoy your devices, you paid for them.
If Apple made a real good update I would have given them even more. I bought the XS Max, but then in the Applestore .. compared side by side to the X, I did not find it worth the money.
Yes I enjoy the devices .
I have to confess Android is a lot of fun. I hope Xiaomi will give us Android 9 by the end of this year to play around. The only drawback is the Poco F1's camera.
