Thought I'd share some of mine

The Starbucks one was edited with Instagram, and the Christmas mug shot was edited with Pixlromatic and Instagram.

I absolutely LOVE this camera. This is why I bought an iPhone, so much easier to carry around than my Canon EOS (which I'm still in love with) but to capture spur of the moment pictures the 4S is so perfect.

Will Camera+ update its app to use the Volume up button now...Apple removed it previously because they claimed 'user confusion'. Now that it is native to the regular camera app, will camera+ update it again?

If they did I would prob never use the reg cam app...I currently use it for shots I want to take of myself with something in the background.

I'm no programmer but I remember someone on here saying that Apple hasn't given third-party developers an API to allow them to do this currently, so it looks unlikely at the moment.

Next time you run across that situation you can better expose the berries by doing one of two things.

1. If using the standard camera app, get the white sky out of your photo if possible - different angle or what not. The sensor is trying to expose the sky correctly since it is silly bright and unfortunately darkens the berries quite a bit. The iPhone is supposed to expose and focus on the same spot but sometimes the background can overtake the subject and force the camera to still expose incorrectly. i.e. cameras are stupid no matter how expensive they are.

2. If using the camera+ app, focus on the berries and also shift your exposure (using the aperture symbol - the circle "thingy") to the berries. The sky will go nuclear but the berries will be exposed properly.

Finally, the above was unsolicited so if you didn't want the above please just ignore :)

Thanks for that advise,
The best camera is the one you have with you of course.

Edited with camera + last night. My new desktop photo.

Actually, the new release of the Top Camera app now includes the up volume button shutter, so looks like Apple is okay with it as of iOS 5. Maybe Camera+ will add it as well.

i haven't carried a real camera in ages. I met up with my sister last night to have a couple drinks, and she asked my fiance to take a couple pics of us. She pulls some super slim high end digital camera out of her purse and hands it to my fiance, and i commented 'wow, i havent seen one of these in forever"

She's said, "sorrrrryyyyy, not everyone has an iphone, mister"

She has some funky android phone on tmobile. its gigantic. the sensation, or revelation or something.

either way, i died laughing. And made me realize how Steve's original vision to condense all of the items we carry around, into 1, has truly come to fruition.

I'll definitely use my iPhone for some photo stuff that previously I would have delegated to a cheap point and shoot which is awesome! But the second I sniff that an area is very nice/artsy I'll be bringing my DSLR for sure :D :D

My rabbit, unedited. I'm really impressed with the sharp focus and detail.

Do you guys zoom while you take some of these close-ups or do you crop them later?

I hardly ever zoom, only when i'm taking a pic of the wife or the dog i tend to remember that there is a zoom

I practically never use the digital zoom on any camera, never mind a cellphone, you can typically always achieve better zoom results after the shot in a photo editing package. If it was an optical zoom then I would use it quite a bit.
