I hate Jony Ive's taste when it comes to iOS.

But this thing is just too f'in sexy, just like a Ferrari is.

I wonder if that's Apple's intention, to keep moving further and further away from the middle class...They certainly have enough money to completely disregard us mere mortals.

Historically, I've saved up for the Macs I've owned over time, and upgraded by recouping a lot of the value when selling. But more and more they're killing what I want and pricing what I do want out of reach. All my Apple products have been for pleasure, never business (I work in the Windows/Linux/UNIX world).

Still, if money was no object, SOLD! Simply gorgeous.

I see your point, but what you should understand is that Apple, just like other companies still in business, is a company first, and it is for PROFIT $$$, for $$$ - dollars - dough. They have employees, customers, share holders, and they have an obligation to all those. I would love for Apple to do more charity, but it's not my call.

And I dont blame them for it. But I cant understand why people misinterpret Apple for something they clearly are not.

To think that Apple is any better than other companies in this aspect is kind of naive. They are in it to make money - but not to save the world. They are not more or less evil than other companies in that regards.

What I want to say: Dont fall for this bs. This whole thing is just PR money well invested because it makes the company (wrongfully) look better then they truly are.

Apple should have given an option to buy the Mac Pro with a standard SINGLE Radeon 280 or 290 instead of dual FirePro's.

And it may be an option to remove one of the GPU's in a BTO configuration. We simply don't know yet. However, some audio plugins could certainly be designed to use OpenCL.

I dont have to, since as far as I know they have done nothing to improve the general design of them when it comes to acoustic. If you have seen any sort of evidence the inner design is different please enlighten me.
