All the rumors floating around lead to the same conclusion.

Without a doubt the iPod touch 5th Gen will be much more slimmer and will come with a bigger screen like the iPhone 5.

I can't wait to buy two!

Uhm no. I doubt it'll get much slimmer, and it's pretty much guaranteed that the screen won't get larger.

Slimmer? Oh, I hope not. Bigger screen FTW though (if the iPhone 5 is any indication)! ;)

It's already too thin. That's why the camera sucks compared to the iPhone. It's need depth for the lens.

If they added a better camera, it could get a bit thicker. The iPod touch had always been a slim device so I don't see it getting thicker.

If they don't put a better camera in it, the 4th Gen will definitely be my last iPod touch.

    what rumors say this nuttiness?

the ipod is thin enough. the camera sucks. if they can make a thin one with a decent camera, then that's fine, but i doubt it.

    What else would you get?

Like others, I also think its reached the thinnest it should ever get. Any thinner and I dont think it'd be comfortable. Much more fragile as well.

Just keep my 4th gen for any iOS apps I need to run and Android will fill the rest of my needs. Prepaid Android phones with cameras better than the 4th gens can already be had for $150 or less.

Maybe a bigger screen to keep developers happy. It's going to be annoying to have multiple sizes to develop for if they don't. Slimmer? No way, it is already slim.

True. I somehow doubt the ability to significantly improve the camera without adding a little thickness. Shame.

Regardless, I think it will be improved to some degree.

This. Its too thin. I cant hold it firmly in my hand unless it has a case on it.

    What is this...

You have a source to prove this?

    Or you are just hoping.

    Or are you dreaming?

iPod touch is a very compelling product. It costs only 229 dollars and has everything you would hope for in media player including camera. Don't expect anything more than A5 chip and more Ram in next upgrade. Apple will still sell millions.

Same here. I love my 64GB 4G iPod Touch and the only complaint (and I do mean only complaint) is the camera.
I too have a VM670... love the phone (not crazy about Android's task management).

Personally, I think the A5 upgrade is guaranteed. But a bigger screen on the other hand...that I think is probable, but most likely not.

A6 isn't coming till next year. As another poster pointed out, I think you meant A5.

Exactly how I feel. Love my 32gb touch, but get crazy jealous when my sister in law whips out her iPhone and I see the sweet shots she gets. How do you like the cam on the Optimus V? I like the quality, but the shutter is really slow and its tough to get nice pics of my daughter unless she's barely moving (which is never). The iPod touch is great at capturing the action without blur but the actual product is always grainy, undefined, and disappointing.
