If it's any consolation, FedEx has an Anchorage to Memphis flight landing in ten minutes, and it probably won't be the last one of the day judging by the runs they've been making throughout the week. I'm not too worried; they've been doing this for a long time and probably have it planned out very well. If it hits Memphis early today, gets sorted, and is sent to your local center by tonight, then it'll be all set to be delivered to you tomorrow morning![]()
Remember, "In Transit" should mean it's left the city, or at the very least has been scanned and loaded up. Anchorage was just the last place it was scanned. Then again, I might be overly optimistic about all this... I just want my iPod to arrive on time!
I'm thinking you will get it tomorrow on time. It's nerve racking watching status changes, but things can progress pretty quickly depending when status' are entered.
I'm excited and can't wait to hear what you guys think of it. I've been goofing with it and it's just so amazing to see how fast it feels even when compared to my 4G. I tried a number of more graphically intensive games and had no issues with load times, framerates or crashes so far.
Oh, I did try out the new ear buds and I personally like them. I listen to a lot of rock, metal, industrial, techno and the sound is clean to me with a good separation of ranges. Bass even sounded good without distortion at decent sound levels. While they might not be at the same level as some of the more professional ear buds, they are great for being pack in's when compared to other pack in ear buds that are provided. Also, even though they look to be oddly shaped, they actually feel really comfortable. I might have to splurge to pick up a pair with the mic and remote now.
