Yesterdag i went to the apple store in Belgium and they said it would come 1 october.

yesterday I got my week 38 ipod touch
AWESOME
i was one of the fools in the cue at the apple store regent street london,
they started selling them around 12, we were more or less 200 in the cue.
they had plenty of them in stock, i don't think they run out of stock, but i may not be correct in this regard.

webmail works perfectly, it runs everything smooth like silk.
it's wonderful walking in the street and becoming aware of how many people does have unprotected WI-FIs..

i knew it was going to be great but i didn't expect so much.

hope in the future they will include mail and some other smart things, there's no reason to cripple it down..

Do you guys know if any of the Apple stores are actually going to start getting some touch's in this coming week ?

The apple store near me in Manchester arndale centre had some in Saturday morning but i was to late , cause i was told there were sold out with in the hour

So now to be on the safe side i'm going to have to be at the store before they open everyday until i get one.

I know its sad lol , but i want one really bad

What happened?

Lol well I had ordered a Touch a week before it was released. They said that it would be fine for me to pick one up on Saturday. I rang again on Thursday to check if I was still ok for Saturday, and then they said that they were only getting 15 in, and it was first come first serve. As you can imagine I was pretty upset, so my mum phoned up and had a bit of a rant to the manager and he said that he would honor the pre-order. I went in on Saturday and the manager gave me my iPod he had it in the back of the shop, which he had saved for me. He was such a nice guy.

Ooh not bad, looks like Apple may have finally shipped all that was left of the Week 37's (one of them going to me... )
Just for future reference it's spelt queue not cue, sorry im pedantic like that.

I'd bet on the end of the week. China is on holiday for the beginning of this week, so the number of planes leaving China will decrease. It is questionable as to weather FedEx will cease operation completely, or just slow down during this time period. Apple is beginning to clear out the backlog of preorders, so I'd say some iPods will be shipped to UK stores during the middle of the week, and make it to shelves by next weekend.
All of that is purely speculative, and comes from my understanding of how Apple's supply chain works.
