En svensk :) So you've pre-ordered, I planned to do so as well but didnt get to it, plus sometimes physical stores have gotten apple products before applestore ships. strange though. Well well, dad's off to the states in mid-october...but I want one Now! haha.

Well of course they have, alot of people keep on returning the faulty ones. Where would those go to? They either get fixed by Apple or thrown away (or w/e :p ). Why would any company intentionally distribute faulty units, when the population is already aware of the problems?

If your dad's off to the states, you should wait IMO. iPods are waaay cheaper over there.

Of course no company, intentionally, would be selling faulty units, but since not every prior-to-week-38-ipod is faulty they would not stop selling the first batch, right? Well I dont know, I just hope for the sake of god and the rest of the world that they have run out of batch #1 :eek:

I've dealt with Cancom in Kensington a few times and with one or two exceptions the service I've received on the phone has been nothing less than surly, cocky and uninterested. In store they're usually okay, but still... :(
 
iPod Touch in Regent Street London!?!?

Could anyone tell me if they have any stock in store?
I'm in London Saturday and I would buy one , if they have it.
Otherwise do you know where can I find it?

None in the Trafford Centre yesterday when I got my week 37 refunded - they are due more before the end of the week though.
 
I called the Regent Street store yesterday afternoon and they gave me the stock response that the touch will be released on Friday. I pointed out that they had already had stock and been selling them last week and they just kept repeating the same line. It was quite annoying actually.

Realistically, if you want a touch before Friday, I think you have to actually go to the store and hope for the best. Calling them won't get you anywhere.
 
Arndale in Manchester had a limited amount of stock which sold out very quickly. They will be getting more stock in on Friday.
 
I went into John Lewis in Reading yesterday after work, and picked up an 8Gb. Only think they had 1 left after getting mine.
 
I went into the Regent's street stores last night and had a chat with one of the guys who seemed to know his stuff. They don't have any stock at all at the moment and are not expected to recieve any further stock until Wednesday 3rd October.
 
I think I'm gonna find it out saturday as I go into the store..
Information is scant!!
 
I got an email from John lewis today saying that they had 8Gb in stock online, but they have already sold out.
 
Has anyone got their Touch from the new Touchwood store in Solihull? I'm off for a brief break abroad this weekend - flying from Birmingham International - and thought I'd pop in and pick up a 16GB model before I check in. What are their stock levels like? Failing that, what about the Brum store or John Lewis in Solihull?
