Yes, to me it is worth the $300 because I like taking pictures and I also like the clarity of oled screens. Really depends on what's important to you.
What if someone likes taking pictures but prefers the iPhone 11? Will it not take a very good picture?Yes, to me it is worth the $300 because I like taking pictures and I also like the clarity of oled screens. Really depends on what's important to you.
For me, it is the size. I prefer a smaller device and the 11 Pro is about at the top limit for as large as I want to go. The 11 is larger than I prefer. Could I live with it if I had to? Yes, but as long as I have the choice, I'm willing to pay a bit more for a size that fits how I like to use my phone.
I am actually looking forward to the rumored iPhone 12 that may be even smaller than the 11 Pro (5.4 inches I believe)
I also prefer the small size of the Pro. Perhaps if the 11 was in a similar size model of the Pro, I'd definitely look into it...but I don't like the larger size of the 11
Well, I bought an 11 Pro at Costco tonight. Have to do the iTunes transfer from my regular 11. We'll see if I can justify the cost different or else I can take it back (they have a 90-day return policy).
Throwing the screen protector and case on it (same brands and models as what is on my 11), the 11 Pro weighs 7.98 oz vs the 8.29 oz of the 11. But I need to judge the feel in hand, actual use battery life, and if I like the screen more over the next few days for sure.
I’ve used an XR myself and it’s a really good phone. Sure I think about the £’s but it’s whatever the consumer is happy with. It’s essentially the same phone apart from a few minor differences. The experience is unchanged mostly which is testament to how good iOS is.Good choice. After having a XR for 8 months only as i got of for a bargain, i wouldn't buy a 11, i bought a 11 pro. My wife still has one so i can compare.
11 pro is every bit worth the extra $$.
If you havn't use both for a fair bit of time you are only thinking of the $$ if you voted 11.
I’m an happy owner of iPhone 11 Pro 256 Gb, but I think iphone 11 128 Gb would have been a better deal for my needs to be honest. Most reviewers, like The Verge, MKBHD, and Wired. One guy named Austin doesn't change the convergence of opinions favoring the iPhone 11.
The telephoto lens needs plenty of light, otherwise iPhone simply takes a zoomed photo using the main lens and crops it.
Actually the OLED display on the Pro could be more prone to degrade over the time than the LCD on the 11...How long are you keeping this phone? If it's 2+ years, I'd get the 11 Pro. I think the $300 increase is worth it. You left out build quality as another clear advantage.
wide angle camera is on the iPhone 11 too.OLED. Wide Angle. Best Battery. 4x4 MIMO
That is all.

Size is a good point for those that any smaller phones, albeit slightly. Im not a huge fan of massive phones and my 8+ can be annoying. The amount of times it stabs me in the pelvis when I sit in the car it’s unreal lol.For starters it’s smaller, thinner, bit lighter, less bezel, without going into the screen and internals, more than a few minor differences, not everyone wants too carry around a surfboard in their pocket. Sure the experience is the same as they are all iPhones with same OS lol. Doesn’t mean all the different iPhones are though. If someone wants the smallest iPhone with best screen and camera the 11 pro is the choice.
You seem to pop in everyone of these threads with same comments and the merry go round begins, it’s a dead end.
So, one thing I found after restoring from my 11 to 11 Pro that I don't like. Is there no Standard/Zoom option on the Pro? I use my regular 11 in standard mode and find it a bit annoying that I can't get the same amount of "stuff" on the screen of the Pro (even though it has a much better pixel resolution). Checked numerous apps and pages.
I then toggled my regular 11 to Zoomed mode and boom...both phones now have the exact same "stuff" on each page/screen/menu. I don't prefer the zoom mode though. Is there no way to get the same "stuff" as Standard on the 11 to make a Standard view on the Pro?

"What if someone likes taking pictures but prefers the iPhone 11? Will it not take a very good picture?"
It will take good pictures but no telephoto lens though and instead will use digital zoom...no optical zoom. In that scenario, picture quality will be a bit worse.
lol, no the screen is smaller and the 11 pro doesn't have zoomed. Only 11 and pro max.

Yes! I agree completely. I did not want a big phone. I wanted Face ID so the 8 was out. If I am going to spend that much money I might as well spend a little more and get the phone I want.
Neither are worth their price tag and it’s why I bought an iPhone 8 Plus. I paid $400 new at Best Buy last month.
I agree it’s a great phone but the iPhone 11 is a great choice too. If I needed to upgrade now I’d probably get that. Still, the experience is much the same anyway.@therrealdeal is gonna love youstill a great phone.
