It's not the OS as much as its the apps. Not only that, other device implementations are just completely insane. I am a tech guy in real life. I have an top-tier Asus Transformer and it still boggles me how many ways there are your one to get lost on this device, and even I have a hard time trying to figure things out. That's NOT what people want... they want apps that they can use and a device they can figure out intuitively. (Not even going to mention the horrific performance of my 'precious" $500 Transformer pile of crap)

EXACTLY. I hope they don;t go the traditional Microsoft route and change things just because they can.

My thoughts as well. Too many times companies change things in the guise of "improving" them only to eff things up.

I agree with you and the person you quoted. You see it on websites where things worked really well and someone decides just because you know where everything is and want change they screw things up.

I quit going to certain websites because of this. With the iPad everything is just placed logically most of the time and the stuff that isn't you figure it out. Android tends to fail in keeping it simple and I own both Android and iOS tablets. I actually like Android because i'm also a tech whore, lol.

2003 called and wanted their blackberry back.

Comparing a glitchy old blackberry to something new and not terribly made...wait, you like games with dumbly overlaid touchscreen gamepads?

A buttons a buttons a buttons a button. A touch skin removes the need for buttons, the one thing left would be mouse-like accurate/smooth trackballs. Nah, let's all gyro tilt around looking special-needs.

Because it didn't work before (on a 1" screen playing email brick breaker), doesn't mean it's not salvageable for the good of gaming/scrolling.

Blackberry? No, I think Apple should just improve on their own design.
