1000% happy is a hefty ask on any device. I can always find something I wish it had or don't like. But, yes, I'm 91.239% ecstatic about the X and no regret buying it. Face ID is amazing -- but do wish there was an option to go direct to home screen. No home button, no problem -- but activating readability can be tricky. Loving the camera 100%. Not loving how fragile the body is. Not loving that it's materially heavier than my 7 -- it now tips the scale where it's too heavy for my back pocket when running and I can feel it bobbling around. Guess I'll have to get a belt now.

So yeah, 91.239% excited to have it. But it's still 100% a better phone than my 7 and I liked that phone too. Chalk it up as progress.

Really have been enjoying it until today when face ID started to become un reliable. Today has been the first sunny day since I got the phone and face ID has only worked about 50% of the time outside. Other than that I love the speakers and display. Getting used to the narrower screen over my 7+

I love my phone. It's everything I've been looking for.

- Screen resolution
- Specs that I want (dual camera, internals, for example)
- Pocketability! I loved my 8 Plus, but it wasn't as easy to keep with me in a suit, or close fitted jeans

Yes, it was/is an expensive "phone", but it isn't just a "phone". I do so much with this device. I get why it cost what it does.

I know people are enjoying aspects of the X

And predictably it’s getting a lot of hate on here too

I say hate as In more like criticism of it

But is anyone 1000 percent happy with their 1000+ dollar phone?

Count me in the camp as someone who won’t sell his 7plus but probably also isn’t gonna let my SIM leave this device nor hand it back to apple for a refund 😀

By the way I don’t care if you
Think the X is the worst investment/device/sucker play ever.

Doesn’t factor in my decision and experience.

So hate on even if this thread invites trolls to troll

I’m just wondering if anyone is head over heels after first new design since 2014 and all the pent up demand. Or if that’s what lent itself to be so demanding of what they want from apple in 2017 in a mobile

Thanks

I just married mine.

Hmm how difficult is it to use on handed? I do like that with the smaller iPhones.
Well i can give you an example. I input my Starbucks order one-handed through the Starbucks app with ease WHILE driving with my 7. I just did the same thing with my X and it could not be done.

*insert bad to drive and use phone comment here*

Can you recommend a good wireless charger?

Love my X. Only missing display zoom. Otherwise it’s perfect. I think it’s incredible. Best phone I’ve ever had by a mile and loving the gestures. I thought losing the home button would be a massive loss. It’s not at all.

Considering how long i waited for this phone (since way back last year when there were rumors of a 10th anniversary iPhone), usually I would end up disappointed due to the excessive expectations I'd put on the device. Even with those excessive expectations, everytime I look at the phone i get giddy with excitement. It just looks so damn good. Had no problems with it, everything working perfectly. Would i say I'm head over heels? No, it's just a phone. But I'm certainly head over heels when it comes to the phone's beauty; hands down the best looking phone ever designed (IMO).

I was on the fence about even ordering the X. I had an 8 Plus and I really like the size and aspect ratio of the 8 Plus screen. The size of the phone itself was getting old. I decided to go for the X and got one for in-store pickup.

I am really enjoying it. The screen size is large enough for my use and the size of the phone is perfect. I do not miss the 8 Plus size at all, I do not miss the feeling of having a brick in my pocket that's for sure.

I really like the new gestures as well, something I thought I'd hate, but it's starting to feel better than using the home button. I also did not like the look of the "notch" initially but I barely notice it anymore. All in all I am extremely happy with this phone.

I am very happy with mine. I was well over due for an update though and I would have really been on the fence if I had a 7, but then again, part of the reason I didn't get a 7 is because I wanted to wait for the 10th "anniversary phone". All of that said, I do have one annoying bug that keeps popping off with something about not being able to download in-app purchases or something.

I'm very happy with my X. The gestures were easy to adjust to. Face ID works great. The size is great for me and I'm coming from a 7 Plus. In my opinion, it's the best iPhone I've ever used.

I mean I'm very happy with it but the price is ridiculous (which lessens how much I truly like it) and there are things that really need to be improved. (Face ID, battery percentage hidden in control center, the notch in YouTube.)

I miss my smaller 7, I just love one-handed functionality too much.
That being said, i also appreciate the new features on my X; True Tone, sharper display, louder speakers and wireless charging.

I still don’t know if i’m going to keep it or exchange it for the regular 8.

Don't forget the much improved camera and camera features. One of the main reasons I'm keeping the X vs my 8.

Usually by this time things have settled down after i get my new iphone, heck even my note 8, but with the iphone x, i’m still as excited as ever, that edge to edge screen is the biggest jump, anybody who sees it is just in awe... its like seeing the web/apps in a whole new light/view

Really enjoy mine too. And I'm coming from a 7+ that I got when I switched carriers in March. I do find myself still going for the home button sometimes, but it's only been 3 days. The gestures just make total sense.

I’ve never seen nor had a perfect phone, but the X is as close as I’ve ever had. The flaws are few, and the pros are many.

I love it!

The screen is just crazy. Some content on it looks like it’s printed on paper. It looks and feels like holding a high end paper notebook with a bunch of beautifully designed pages.

This is my favorite iPhone.
1) X
2) 4s
3) 5s
4) Jet Black 7 Plus
I love the Screen, Speakers, Size and build quality. The Notch is a necessity. To get the screen. Touch ID had to go. Face ID is great. I wish it worked in landscape mode but for now I’ll take it over a bezel with button. True Tone is great once you get use to it. Going inside and outside the building today. I notice the change in temperature of the screen. Amazing software helps the Samsung OLED be the best. I can’t put this X down. One hand typing is back. With a full screen. I’m glad Apple finally added wireless charging. I haven’t plug in my X since Saturday. I put a qi pad in my truck. On the center console floor. I just place it there and go. Nightstand is the same way. Place it on the pad. Do what I have to do them come back and grab it. Battery life is about the same for me as my 7 Plus was. End of my work day 70% with light use. I’ll take that. The Camera. Well we know how Amazing it is. Portrait mode is great. Stage light front facing camera needs to be worked on. But I believe it’s still in beta. So I’ll take it. Battery percentage needs to be shown at the right corner of the phone. Would be my only complaint. This Buttery OS is the best. Put the android on the trash. Gesture OS is Here!!!
Swiping is so natural. It make take awhile for some to adapt. I wouldn’t get this phone for my mother yet. Maybe the next X model. When the OS matures. For me, For now. It’s the greatest.

Today. I had people walk by me and say. Is that it? Can I see it? Do you like it? Looks great.
