I want a 6 inch screen iPhone 7/7s Plus but keep similar dimensions of the current 6 Plus with lesser bezels.

I concur! That would be an amazing iPhone. The 6 Pluses screen is great, but I think the screen could be a bit bigger if they shrunk the bezels. I know Apple wants everything symmetrical but I think they could pull it off.

A denser display (pixel wise) would also be awesome. 401ppi looks great compared to the older iPhones but imagine the quality if they could push it to 2 or 4k. :D

IMO this is highly unlikely. I don't think Apple wants to have a repeat of the 5c concept.

And why not? All indications say it has sold really well.

I have my own conspiracy theory as to why the 5c existed and its not because it was an experiment. This isn't the time or the place though.

If they could make the bezels smaller I would prefer to have a smaller form factor with the 4,7" display than having a bigger screen with the current dimensions.

The 6S need to have better screen resolution then 326 ppi or 720p! Come on Apple; get it up to at least borderline HD! It been the same since iPhone 4!

Stop confusing resolution and DPI, DPI is lot more important than the screen resolution, and at the DPI Apple have been using is quite good. It ain't 500+ DPI but you'll be hard pressed to distinguish 326+ or 500 DPI from each other and you get lowered performance due to higher resolution used (I'm not buying that a smartphone can run 4K considering how computers can have issues pushing 3K).

My preference is the the current width of the 6, anything wider would make it cumbersome to hold for me. Increasing size to 5" will increase the width. Same thing applies for thickness, thickness also plays into how ergonomic it is to hold. Wider the phone is, thinner it has to be to be held comfortably.

Side bezels are thin, the top and bottom bezels make the phone taller and I don't have too much issue with the height when the phone is in my pocket.

Some people are obsessed about bezels, looking at it closer the side bezels cannot be any thinner. Bottom bezel needs space for the home button, so whats left is the top bezel. I am not sure if I will like the thinner top bezel with everything else being the same as the current phone. It might be more portable, but might not look good.

Hey guys.

I feel like I'm alone on this one. Most folks I know seem to be satisfied with the sizes of the iPhones 6 and 6 plus for their respective needs. Heck, I've even heard of some complain about wanting a smaller phone compared to these. I have a 6 that I really do love. The bigger screen is fantastic. However, I can't help but want an even bigger screen, though not as big as the plus. I've tried the plus but it is just too big to be practical for my usage. I think a 5 inch would be the perfect middle ground sweet spot for me.

Do you think Apple would ever consider this? Would any of you guys be interested in this?

Thanks.

Even if they did, I would stick with the iPhone plus not sure too many people switch or if that would bring in more users from different phones.

Now if that bezel could be reduced, that might make a difference.

One of the things why I might not be interested in the 5" iPhone is I love SwiftKey, but for some reason, the iOS version will not resize it. I am used to keeping the size the largest. You can't resize it on the default QuickType keyboard either. Since most people like me type in portrait mode, the wider iPhone 6 Plus is better for it. This is why I would love Apple to offer it from small (4"), medium (5"), and large (6"). Cover it for like 97% people out there.

The largest iPhone will always appeal to me the most. Majority of people since the QWERTY era type with two hands anyway. Bigger screen offers a better experience for typing and browsing. Two of the top 3 main uses for most people who use their smartphone. Bigger and longer battery is up there with them. A 4" iPhone would appeal to me if I am jogging or in the gym listening to my tunes. But TYPING on a keyboard (for text, email, Viber, FB, posting here, etc) and BROWSING are more important to me than music listening. That's why the biggest iPhone will usually appeal to me because of those important and most common usage factors.

With very little typing errors with its roomy keyboard! ;)

Sorry but that's a dumb idea for apple...... There would be too much bleeding into the other products. Not sure why you think the 6+ is too big if you want a 5" screen.... trust me when you get used to having a bigger phone it's not as much as an issue as one would think.... I now grab my kids 5 or 5s... heck even the wifes 6 and it looks and feels funny.

They could probably bump up to 5" and 5.7" by reducing the bezels. The dimensions of the Galaxy S5 and Note 4 are not much different than the 6 and 6+. Apple though could probably save that for the 8 and then introduce a 4.5" with smaller bezels which wouldn't be too much bigger than the current 5s, pretty much the same size as a S5 Mini. Those three screen sizes and physical sizes should work for everyone.

I don't see any point in creating a 5" iPhone when the 6 is already 4.7" and the 6 Plus is 5.5. It's not enough difference to create another phone with a 5" screen particularly when that size already super close to the 4.7" screen.

There already is a phone similar to a 5" iPhone. It is called an iPhone 6.

The 0.3 inches increase won't make much of a difference viewing videos and typing on the keyboard. Me, I need to have the BIG DADDY of all iPhones. The bigger screen, the better. I went from 4.7" to 5" and not much difference at doing and viewing anything. Maybe a slight width increase for a slightly roomier keyboard. I want a 6" iPhone now. The 4.7 to 5 is a "conservative" increase. Let's go 6" but have Apple decrease the bezel on all sides including the top and bottom to keep the dimensions more compact or least same dimensions as the current 6 Plus.

5" might be nice but its not happening in the 6S
Apples to busy with other products.
