Why stop at a 6 inch. Why not a 12 inch phone? Or an 18 inch phone? Or a phone that requires two people to hold?

I keep thinking to myself what can people do with such a large screen that they can't do with the current sized screens.

If Apple goes for that 0.3 increase, 5" iPhone will probably be around the same size as the HTC One M8 or M9. The iPhone 6 at 4.7 is practically the same dimensions as the HTC One M7 but thinner and rounder on the edges. I used 4.7 & 5" smartphones in tandem and felt no real difference. It took me awhile to get accustomed to 4.7 coming from 3.5-4", but now I want to push my limit to 6". Just a matter time of getting used to the screen sizes. After two years with 4.7-5", 4" or under looks small. Like a baby's phone. If I go 5.5-6", the 5" I am currently used to will start to feel small.

Apple can keep it at 4.7 and nobody will really miss out on the 0.3 increase. Apple can go 5" and nobody will really feel a difference coming from an iPhone 6. An inch or more increase, and you will feel a dramatic difference. Less than half an inch, nothing except a few mm wider for a slightly roomier keyboard in portrait mode.

I want an 6 inch Iphone for Iphone 7

Currently using two _primary_ phones as I have for years:

1) iPhone 6 Plus
2) Nexus 6

I'd be super enthused to have a 6" iPhone with the same aspect ratio as my Nexus 6.

Instead of tall and narrow like my iPhone, the display is wider which makes a surprising and very beneficial difference especially on the web and for games and YouTube.

Also having an iPhone 6, I suggest Apple increase them both.

iPhone 7 = 5" display
iPhone 7+= 6" display

Both optimum for their respective models with only minor increase physically.

I am so used to my S5 screen that I could never go smaller, but the new 5.0 update is really annoying so I will look towards the next gen iphone.

The iPhone 6 is slightly too small, and the iPhone 6+ is slightly too big. I think a 5" iPhone would be perfect. In an ideal world, I could see them having a 4", 5", and 6" iPhone to please everyone.

Any bigger and it comes a hassle to hold.

I'd take a 5"-5.1" screened iPhone if it is roughly the same size of the iPhone 6. Let's lose some of this bezel, Apple

I'd say that a 5' screen is pretty optimum for a smartphone.
