I believe so

I love the design... love the flat front and back. I hate the idea of curved edges coming back... the squareness is part of the reason I wanted this phone so badly. As for the slipperiness/delicateness, I put on my slickwraps ebony wood skin and never had an issue. Still gorgeous, still small, still slick... I dropped it 5 feet onto tile floor yesterday at work, my heart stopped, lifted the skin to see if it was damaged but not a crack and I swear the skin helped save it.

If anyone other than Apple had designed the IP4 you would all be saying what a terrible job they did. The phone has so many design flaws.

1. The square sides are not ideal on a phone, and does not fit well in the hand.
2. Glass back was a stupid idea.
3. Antenna on the outside of the phone was a disaster.
4. High failure rate of buttons is unacceptable in a device that is one year old.

Apple will return to a more traditional design with the Antenna inside the phone and a curved back and get rid of the Glass. Hopefully they will also do something about their component sourcing to reduce the failure rate of the switches.

Glass back, while looks great, is not good design in my opinion! From my profession design must be practical as-well as anaesthetically pleasing... and while the iphone has the aesthetics down, practical side not so much! still love the phone tho!

Totally agree.
