The post is in thread I am reading, you are posting in a thread you are not interested in. I guess your inability to figure out the difference explains why you are in posting in a thread you are not interrested in, in the first place.

Pointing something like that out can give context when people reply to old posts as far as perhaps to at least set expectations that their posts might very well not be seen by those they reply to or that they very well might not get a reply back or that others might not jump on other older posts for similar reasons.

Fwiw mods don't generally close down threads (here) unles they get out of hand. Nothing wrong with pointing out an old thread was resurrected so long as it is done politely. Whatever a mod's perceived job is, they certainly don't seem to mind people passing on polite information.

I don't have my Plus anymore so I can't compare it to my 6SPlus but as far was I was always concerned both are beasts, so an extra few ounces was never going to bother me. I'm glad I got the SE to carry around for hikes and such for the summer. In the winter and fall pocket portability won't matter as much, so I'll go back to The Beast.

I think it's a little heavy. One year later I still wished I had gotten the iPhone 6s instead of the plus.
