When I checked this am it said 25th. Not worried as I got my two on the way for the 25th.

You probably looked at the 6S and not the 6S Plus because 6S Plus are still 3-4 weeks out, it's the 6S that can still be delivered on the 25th if you order today.

The ordering process was great, but it's not a 'launch' until they've actually started to be delivered.

Is it when UPS leaves the terminal or when they hand the box to you?

I noticed that as well. I'm trying to avoid buying a new phone this year but I keep seeing that 6s being available, its tempting me 😛

Seriously the different between the 6 and 6s is small enough that its hard to justify spending nearly a thousand dollars. Yes it will be somewhat offset by selling my current phone but I'll still lose money.

Its an easy choice since the 2GB of RAM was confirmed. IF the 6S Plus is as fast as my Air 2 this is going to be great.

No argument on that, but my needs are taking a back seat at this point. I'll probably circle back on the 6s once we decide to get my kids phones. Our plan is to buy a couple of used iPhone 5c phones for their birthday, switch over to T-Mobile and from there we'll consider the iPhone 6s.

Understand that. I have told my kids they get to upgrade this year as well. They have a 5C and 5S at the moment that have been handed down so we're moving them to a 6 now that they are last years model. I will most likely get them 16GB versions even though that's a bit small. They just have to deal with it.

Verizon website: woke up, ordered, back to bed all within about 10 minutes. Not sure how you get smoother than that.

I would say so....SO FAR anyway. I was able to order yesterday and get delivery for 9/25. Hope it doesn't get pushed back though.
