The baseband software on those Blu-Rays is pretty rock solid. If the dev team can't even solve my problem, there's NO WAY they coud handle that!

I heard Geohotz has a solution I think it's gonna be called Sourlem0ns. seriously Apple doesn't support no sign for the 1G you can it here and try http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ if Spaz wasn't banned he might have advice. he stayed with 2.0 well passed its prime.

Don't you have to DFU restore to the previous firmware. Then do a regular restore after the error? I think thats what I did to go from 4.0>to 3.1.3 on my 3G.
