Is it really even worth it for 4S owners to upgrade?

BTW you would be right when the new iPad Mini comes out....Amazon will bury that thing on their site if they even decide to offer it b/c they will have a new line of competing Amazon Kindle Fire 2's coming out which will be in direct head-to-head competition.
Features wise I'm not expecting too much. But my main reason for getting the 5 is because I need an unlocked phone for travel (although i'm not sure how viable this will be if Apple uses a nano-sim). So that is about 50% of my personal argument for justfying the purchase (personal necessity). I am still under contract for my iPhone 4S with AT&T till August 2013 before I would qualify for the 18 month early upgrade (ATT will not unlock my iphone 4S till then). Features wise I don't expect too much, although improved battery life would be a plus, I'm not sure what a faster processor (possibly A6) will be able to do on such a small device as a phone. I'm not sure what to make about the new headphones that are rumored to be coming with it. NFC is a big question mark still, I guess I need to go buy all new accessories for the new phone too.
How likely are we to see a 128gb iPhone 5???
I know at this stage everything is speculation and guess work, but memory storage is the only thing that will persuade me to sell my 64gb 4s and purchase the next iPhone. To be honest, I'd much rather keep my 4s as it's been flawless up until now, but I have just over a 1gb left of space and the last resort is to start deleting music(takes up the bulk of space), which I'd rather not do.
Even if Apple decide not to increase the built-in capacity, i'd love it if they can introduce a micro sd cards. I wouldn't mind paying the Apple tax-premium for them

Watch apple come out with some new IOS features and then idictate that they won't work on any IPhone other than the new one. Hardware limitations I can understand, but it has already been proven that apple lies about stating that older models wont run the new features.

Do you really expect any different this year? If they come out with new features they don't have to include them to older models. They want people to buy the new one obviously.

The 'S' owners are more than likely going to be the ones constantly getting the 's' versions of the iPhone. So not only will you get the previous 'groundbreaking' deisgn, you also get the updated graphics and software.

The're are going to be a lot of little boys making sure everyone knows their iPhone is a half inch bigger. You might even see two guys holding their phones up to each other and comparing the size difference. Should take us back to our preteen years.
