Least it ain't coyote ugly to the point where you wanna gnaw the band off rather than wake it the next morning huh?

Agreed 100%. To anyone who realized what this thing was, it's a $400 gadget. Or a $400 gadget encased in slightly upgraded housing masquerading as a luxury item. Those who fell for that marketing schtick likely have the highest levels of buyers remorse.

I view mine as disposable. Because by the time the new version is introduced, it will be.

Is any Apple product you buy any different? I'm confused as to why people expect the watch to be dramatically different than the iPhone. They are companion devices. Will a person using the 5s right now who doesn't upgrade next year (or, possibly, the year after that) be upset that their Apple watch isn't "current" enough? Maybe not.

I assume that I'll buy gen 2 because I upgrade my iPhone yearly anyway. I didn't buy the watch thinking it would be an heirloom like a mechanical watch.

This I don't understand. You hate the watch as does the OP. You consider it overpriced as does the OP. Why in the world would you want to keep something that malfunctions, is ugly, and is overpriced (according to the OP)?

I never I said I hated it. Though saying I agree with the OP would insinuate that I guess. After reading it again I saw the hatred, lol. Anyway, I agree with pricing being too high. I think there could be more customizable Watch Face options since it is a watch after all. It also doesn't feel like Apple quality. You can see my signature I own quite a few things by them. I just feel like they could've done better. I think it's ok to be critical on Apple especially when the asking price could get me an iPhone or an iPad and interaction is minimal.
