I did consider the Iktra, but I preferred the sleeker and sexier look of the S10/S11 titanium.
I went in roughly the opposite direction— after buying the Series 9 in 2024 (because I knew it would be the last stainless steel model to match my Nomad SS band), I upgraded to an Ultra 3 in Natural Titanium this year and couldn’t be happier. Kept the old Series 9 with metal band for those times when I need to class it up a bit but the Ultra 3 with Titanium Milanese Loop is phenomenally comfortable (and IMHO, upscale enough for most settings).

If I’m going to buy a new smartwatch, it might as well be the one with the longest lasting battery and most features.

I think it is more than worth it with my new Ultra 3. I love the look of the titanium and it certainly seems more durable, however I did manage to lightly scratch the lip around the display this morning on a drywall panel trying to reach between the bed and the wall. A bit disappointing but it is honestly invisible at most angles and the display is still pristine unlike my old Series 10, so I'm pretty stoked still. Another bonus of the Ultra design language is light scratches like that on the titanium (especially the natural color) make more of a tough patina type look instead of wrecking the look like it does on the sleek series watches. Now that I've owned every watch in the line up (SE 2, S9, S10, Ultra 3), I can confidently say the Ultra is worth it even just for never having to worry about needing a case or screen protector. The extra money gets cellular and better build quality too.

The U3 does not have as much AI built in. So I traded a U2 in which did have the O2 sensor operational but I have a small $35 finger device like at the doctors office and that capability lost importance. That function is still doable but sort of a kludge.

Happy with my U3. Will not take it on international travel though.
