what's really bake some noodles is...

that the Bostonian accent is considered by many linguists to be much closer to how Shakespeare would have spoken than RP ("Queen's English")...they think UK English accents were corrupted by the germanic influence.

Good grief, butcher in what way?

Pretentious Americans who think they're special because they like to sound British (and therefore, presumably, more intelligent) are one of the silliest sights in the US.

I don't know where you are from, but I was born in TN. In nearly all parts of the South, grammar is horrendous. It's better among the educated, but overall it's disgusting. It's not relegated just to speech either. You'll see it in print here too. It's just embarrassing to me that people don't take a little pride in their mother tongue is all.

And hey, I love the British accents. There is something very pleasing about them for some reason.

I hear that ...

You are not the first person to use that very picture :)

The Southerners butchered the English language most of all. :p
And the Southern accent can be hard to understand too sometimes, at least for me.
I like British accents the most when it comes to the English language and I have some feelings to the Australian accent too. American accents just sound plain to me but the Southern accent can be fun to listen to. I have to say that.

Here's a Bostonian accent:

Sounds like an "Northerner (American) who lived in Britain a while and then moved to the South (America)" accent.
