Is it worth to install Chrome on my Mac Mojave (MBP 2018/32/1TB)? How fast is Safari and how energy efficient it is compared to Chrome?

    Thanks!

Safari has an advantage over power usage, mainly due to keeping track of which window/tab is visible and pausing the hidden ones. The memory usage is also lower (Chrome uses a lot of memory), but unless you are low on memory it should matter too much.

Chrome has an advantage in features once you take extensions into account. Both have extensions, but Chrome has much more.

Speed differences are minimal, and once you start blocking all trackers, ads, and javascript you will see the main slowdowns for browsing the web is waiting for all the other stuff to load. You are free to try both for a few days and see what you feel about it. You are also free to try others, like Firefox.
