Is the 7 as bad as everyone is making it out to be?

My model black 7Plus is flawless in all regards. Software and build, respectively.

Haven't tested the water resistance except for a brief rain on the screen. No ill effects.

Right now I am sitting in my 10th story condo waiting for Hurricane Matthew to pound us here in the Dade/Broward county line. I might be giving the ip67 rating a good test soon.

This forum is mostly where people come to complain... it is a very bad example of real world use... go buy one, try it out for yourself, and if you don't like it then return it.

I disagree with the idea that this is a complaints forum.

I think it's more of an enthusiast forum that has peak complaints logged/reported with every new product launch.

I just got a 7+ after 3 years with a 5s, so it's a huge improvement (figuratively and literally). I have had the reception issue on Verizon, but the workaround of disabling LTE voice seems to be working so far. Other than that it's been perfect.

Ditto what most everyone has said. I upgraded from a 6 to a 7. Processor is much faster, Hey Siri is great, screen is better, water resistant is nice, battery lasts longer, reception just as good, etc.

Take the leap, I have no regrets since I took a bite off the forbidden with 6+ then 6s+, now I just love my matte to bits!!!
