There were so many threads on the "is the white iPhone girly" that I have to ask this question.

Is the Milanese Loop a womens band?

I think Apple did an excellent job at insuring every combination is gender neutral.

Buy the combo you like and it'll be just fine.

I would really see someone walk into an Apple Store like that :)

"Hello. Can you show me a band that matches my style, please?"

Sure thing. Would you like me to show you anything else?

"Pa-don me young man, I would like to pu-chase an Apple watch that matches me chain mail".

Most certainly not the only feminine model. You forgot about the rose gold with the rose gray band and the SS model with the pink strap. No (non-flamboyant) guys would wear those.

No non-flamboyant guys? How old are you? Get over your insecurities and wear what you want.

Whether something is feminine or masculine is simply a matter of style.

Or culture.

Here's how young guys in a certain African tribe (the Wodaabe, in Niger) make themselves up to attract women. (And it evidently works a treat for them - so don't knock it!)

Milanese band for woman??

I see a lot of men ordering the Milanese band but what if standing in line and the woman next to you wearing the same band?? Would this seem odd

I'm going to weld the watch to the skin of my wrist.

No one's going to call me un-manly when they see that!

(Insane, yes. A moron, sure. But not effeminate.)

That's a great idea until, the watch need charging after 18hours....

I have the black sports band and a blue leather loop and both were more casual bands. I still needed a dressier band for work where I dress business casual so I am swapping my black sports band for the ML. I will wear the blue leather loop on weekends and when dressed in jeans or shorts and will wear the ML at work. I couldn't see spending $450 on the SS band. At first I thought the ML was feminine looking but after my co worker got one and I tried it on, it started to grow on me.

Mihril

The Milanese band is infinitely adjustable. It's the most comfortable metal band I've ever tried. It makes me think of the Mithril mail Bilbo Baggins wore.

I think the feminine idea is a little off the mark. Nerdy maybe, but I can live with that. The Apple Watch is not a motorcycle purchase.

For me, one of the Milanese's best features is that you can fold it into its own stand when charging. I had a charging stand ordered, but after I got my watch, I decided I didn't need it.
